So you can see why probabaly at the moment a lot of companies who went variable waiting for prices to fall are locking in new long term contracts which will be bought for the duration of the contract. Because no doubt prices will rise as autumn approaches

It all depends when contracts signed as YU lock in the price at the spot price they hedge at. This is what drives me mad with people saying oh the gas price has fallen.

Most companies hedge and buy forward for the duration of the contract length. So if like me when the spike was at it worst I was still on a cheap rate but it expired Oct so now on a variable.

So the daily spot price is only relevant to new contracts signed

Lol I point out broker figures and now accused of being obsessive, the problem with a lot of people they do not research at all , it is all in black and white

And I might add YU likes to beat broker forecasts by 1 year so look at 2024 numbers for 2023 actuals, come Jan 24 I do not think they will be far away from 75p EPS , just need to see how Q1 went to get an insight

EPS for 2023 is 57p which I think will be smashed to pieces and cash @ 28m

For 2024 EPS of 75p and cash position of 40m

And you think we are fairly priced ?? Are you insane ?

PE next year would be 9 with 30% of the MC in cash

YU have been talking for a longtime about sector consolidation and kept the cash pile high for a reason.

We may now be about to see the reason why over the coming days/weeks

This is now two pieces of data that have not been released when expected , share options met for SP of £5 for 20 trading days post FY 23 results and now no AGM statement.

Obvious media blackout which points to corporate action

Takeover approach

Merger

Taking out a rival

Can see no other reason

Surprised as makes me think possibly some corporate action underway ?

What makes me laugh is the profitable debt free company is down 5% and the debt ridden companies losing money and hoping for retail to buy clothes are up.

The markets are insane

So glad to be in a defensive play with no debt, profitable and cash rich - phew not many like this stock around these days

Well 2022 ended with record bookings at 48m and stated at the FY in March it continued into 2023 so read into as you will because to me that implies 40m+ per month for jan , feb and definitely March

I personally think the monthly booking figures which will come out on Thursday could be very special indeed and give a great indication how 2023 is going to pan out and I seriously believe 335m broker target for 2023 is ridiculous and we will be way over £400m and pushing 500m hopefully as YU have always trended 1 years ahead of brokers figures.

Also worth noting Meter points are increasing again , as start in March again the question is by how much .

I am really bullish about this year just need to see some figures to back up my bullishness because the Current SP is ridulous even against 2023 broker targets of 57p EPS that puts on on a PE of 10 next year with over 28m in cash forecast.

Indeed looking good if we get a few days of gains new highs incoming

Nice find, been like an ages since we got news, FY wasn’t really news as only a confirmation and all we have been told so far for 2023 is the strength has continued into 2023 and that was in March so now they will have 1/3rd of the years numbers already. Hmmm oh to know the numbers to date.

Market having its jitters but matters not because we are defensive play that is in high profitable growth mode chipping away at a £50b per annum revenue stream.

The stuff of dreams and people sell at this level 11 days away from an update ? Bizzare
