Cash position FY23 is expected to be 28m ish that is over £1.60 per share in cash alone. So doesn’t take a genius to work out the dividend is going to sky rocket unless they have the cash in mind for an aquisition in 2023.

Bizzare movement today and that’s a fact. Suppose as frustrating as it is creates opportunity for investors to buy in cheap.

Q1 numbers or Q1 statement next week now that would be spot on in this new era of YU being Pr focussed.

Also I am very intrigued what they plan for the warchest which grows by the day and probably closing in on £30m by now, yes RO in aug but year end cash is forecast to increase to £27m

That is 1/3rd the current MC is pure cash

Agreed, does seem to have bottomed and could very quickly rebound

From yesterday, must have been a buy as there was selling all day and was surprised we moved up from 4% down to 1%.

That’s two chunky buys now in the last few days soaking up the sells

Profitable, growing fast, no debt, dividend , 2022 PE now 16 and cash of 19m in Dec so probabaly significantly higher now and heading towards 30m but industry payments in Aug of around 15m but year end will be heading to £30m

2023 forecast EPS 57p , cash position 28m current market cap 80 odd million , so PE next year based on current SP is 8 and 1/3 the company market cap in cash @ year end

Peers on PEs significantly higher and selling down to profit taking, year end capital gains banking etc

Crazy sell of when you consider the fundamentals.

Such is life and we will bounce back soon enough once 2023 numbers start feeding into the market.

I am convinced the SCSW herd are / have been exiting and at some point it will rebound very strongly as the metrics are becoming silly now even if 2022 numbers never mind 2023 which is 57p EPS and cash 28m

Totally agree SNN very frustrating for the informed but eventually the worm will turn yet again and it will be dramatic yet again setting new highs.

YU always sells the news seen it time and time again since I first bought in 2018 do not think it will ever change but the trend is defiantly upwards now with, violent jolts down.

I still say we will be above £10 easily at some point this year and Q1 numbers will be the catalyst and especially if we get regular updates as it become more obviously broker numbers are way out

Current MC is 87m so if we stay are this level for the rest of the year 1/3rd of the company valuation will be in cash and 2023 is heading under inti single digits as forecast EPS is a conservative 57p

So if people want to sell for at these silly level more fool them. Q1 numbers will reinforce these estimates

All we are seeing is the cascade effect for a massive rerate from £2 to £8 in 3 months and peop,e locking in profits as selling the news and ****ty markets.

Golden opportunity for new investors IMHO and come April /May if as we assume Q1 is a bumper quarter we should be heading back up with force again just need to hit that bottom whicH must be close as it just gets more ridiculous with each fall now.

Is it me or what the hell is wrong with UK investors ?

We have no debt, cash growing like no tomorrow, turnover growing like no tomorrow forward PE now around 8 and yet on my screen we are one of the worst performers compared to all the loss making debt ridden ****e.

Utilities are safe sectors in times of bother yet YU defies all logic

Yep I have been saying it for months, profitable, not debt, cash in the books, pays a dividend and a commodity people need regardless of what goes on. Ie energy.

Called defensive plays, it means nothing to YU, look at the stock which flew in the last banking crisis, defensive plays like utility plays.

Utter bird brain to chase tech plays in times like these , defensive all the way.
