What a contrast: nearly 80 posts from stalwart lth's between 22 and 24 March 2022, and now nothing for 5 weeks. Is anybody out there? Or are we feeling uncomfortably numb? Forgive a nautical reference, but how many of those familiar names have now abandoned ship, and do any remain as disappoointed lurkers? My holding, accumulated at an average cost of 34p per share, was for some time handsomely in profit, but I sat passively and optimistically, only to watch it disappear. Does any optimism remain? Or does the current price, as should be the case, simply reflect sad reality? Any opinion welcomed!
Historian: I wasn't as quick as you on 2 December but made my initial purchase @ 76p, so am delighted with progress. I interpreted the RNS as covgaz did, being a deferral rather than a loss of income. The fall on that day has been recovered, and more, but I have no intention of selling based on current information (it had been on my watchlist for some time). Hope you have clung on even though your stated target has been reached. It's nice when a falling knife is caught by the handle!
Similar thoughts. I was surprised by opportunity presented by the recent drop but as my largest holding, didn't want to get more overweight. Steady dividends which for several years had been re-invested (a holder since 2002) , so all good. One issue is dividend cover, but this news should increase the headroom. Some profit-taking is inevitable after the outstanding progress this week, but not by me.
I suspect that the fall is due to what is not included in the Asian Update RNS (China), rather the content itself. Expectations remain high but the share price doesn't. Several months ago I suggested the share price needed one of two catalysts to start to deliver true value: inclusion on several lists of New Year recommendations to generate momentum (not much there sadly), but, more long term, distribution of dividends. It looks like the latter will be some time away, but each bit of good news re contracts, in theory, should be getting us closer. Agree with skid re long term patience being needed. Feel sorry for TL if he/she did indeed put in their order for a new yacht as the sp has gone the wrong way since those days, coinciding with the 35p placing. In hindsight, hopefully the current price will prove to be a bargain basement. Keep the safe IMHO but DYOR.
Dividend and scrip dividend timetable
The Board of Good Energy Group PLC is pleased to re-start the dividend and announce an interim dividend of 0.75p per ordinary share for the period to 30 June 2021, as set out in the Company's interim results released on 14 September 2021. The dividend is payable on 29 November 2021 to shareholders whose names are on the register at close of business on 22 October 2021. The shares will trade ex-dividend from 21 October 2021.
The Directors have decided to continue to offer shareholders the opportunity to receive dividends in the form of new shares in the Company as an alternative to a cash dividend payment.
Great news. Helps justify our decisions to reject the T/O, and should kick-start the climb for the SP to exceed the T/O offer price. Onwards and upwards, as they say.

Re share price, I actually anticipate a decent jump in late December on the back of a number of scribblers including ENET in their "shares of the year" selections for 2022. I think this would expose the company to a much larger group of PIs than the current band of LTH's on this board. I also suspect we have a decent number of lurkers in our midst also sitting patiently. But the small Market Cap could leave us still below the radar of many Institutional Investors other than a specialist few (not having checked out the share register however!).
May I add my thanks to TL for the sheer scale of networking and research being undertaken and, importantly, being shared. I remain of the view that the true value of ENET shares will not be fully realised until dividends are being paid. 2024 at the earliest? In the meantime, two points. Firstly I think that our group of LTH's may need to rely more on occasional trading updates than frequent contract announcements for the share price to make significant progress, however frustrating that would be (but improved Investor Relations are essential). Secondly, I think the company is vulnerable to a takeover bid from any of the several companies with whom they have direct or indirect links, and who see ENET'S critical role and essential products in the supply chain. In view of its future prospects, most of us I guess woud be disappointed with a take out bid with a 50% premium on today's share price. So let's hope for a decent flow of RNS's to add speedy and much needed momentum to the share price and so form a higher base before any (unwelcome) takeover bid hits the desk.
Similarly no quote available on Interactive Investor for a 5,000 buy. Spread showing as 41:42. Trying a fill and kill at 42p but still waiting. Could sell 5,000 at 41.3p. Have decided to increase my target holding in view of anticipated news flow. Can't help but feel that true value for investors will only be fully achieved once dividends start being paid (any thoughts when: 2023?2024?).
Keep up the good work, you regular posters and thanks.
And good news: order filled at 42p after a 7 minute wait (no doubt that would be almost an instant deal for those in non-UK locations!).

Optimistic speculation or reliable information? Like you I have an unfortunate Gop, sorry, gap, between my purchase price and the current price, but, after fair research, it did seem a good investment at the time. Hopefully there is some substance behind this recent spurt: we need it!
I bought on the dip and beat the bell with a small late buy of 5k @ 49.24p, so have now reached my target holding. Recent purchases have brought my average price paid up from my inital August / September purchases at 15p and 17p to 33p now. Happy now to ride the long train and relax and reach my destination. Will I be tempted to buy more? Hmmm, maybe, but some of the eggs in other baskets also look promising. However, Ethernity's future appears very very rosy, so none of my ENET eggs will be dropped any time soon, and should be kept until they hatch.
C-luck, C-luck!
Couldn't resist another small top up @ 45.99p. Direction and speed of travel still looking appealing. Holding is steadily increasing. Keep up the good work all you regular posters: useful information and interesting views. GLALTH.
And suddenly some interest appears with what looks like one keen buyer hoovering up and 22 trades in one day. But looking at the algorithmic split of trades into buys and sells, the drop in price looks strange. Anyway, this looks like a share for the patient. GLA.
