Chief executive Steve Heapy told Sky News that bookings climbed by 150% earlier this week as the government scrapped pre-departure tests for passengers arriving in Britain and eased requirements for post-arrival tests.
His comments represent the latest evidence that the travel industry has seen an immediate bounce-back thanks to the changes.

Omicron variant could make COVID endemic, says expert
More from Spi-M member Dr Mike Tildesley, who has said Omicron is the "first ray of light" that COVID could eventually become less severe.
"The thing that might happen in the future is you may see the emergence of a new variant that is less severe, and ultimately, in the long term, what happens is COVID becomes endemic and you have a less severe version," he told Times Radio.
"It's very similar to the common cold that we've lived with for many years. We're not quite there yet but possibly Omicron is the first ray of light there that suggests that may happen in the longer term. It is, of course, much more transmissible than Delta was, which is concerning, but much less severe."

"Any variant that does emerge which is less severe, ultimately, in the longer term, is where we want to be," he said.

Hi gah
I’m back in with a punt/ trade, purely on the chart action not the company.
I have done a lot of research on this and many CBD company’s & found at the moment they don’t make any profit.
Chill, love hemp, Chanelle McCoy, CBX, at the moment are all loss making, I can’t find any company’s in this country that make a profit selling CBD products. If anyone knows any please post.
I know this is a young market but it has been around a few years now
Not very scientific I know, but I called to my local shopping centre and spoke to the staff in boots & Holland & Barrett about their sales of all CBD products, they said they sell a few of the lower priced items but zero of the £50 packs.
I asked specifically about the Pureis CBD tablets, which are the ones CBX sells, to be told in both stores they don’t sell.
I do want this company to survive, but I don’t feel the urgency, TIME IS A KILLER
It’s sounds great bringing in people from massive multi million pound company’s, but do they bring their, “ I’ll sort that out after lunch “ attitude as well
I know I sound like a broken record but this company will run out of money if it doesn’t get its finger out and SELL STUFF.
Britons should go ahead and book holidays abroad because the world is not a “dangerous place”, the transport secretary said on Thursday.
Grant Shapps encouraged fully vaccinated tourists to visit London and travel to other countries following a relaxation of Covid testing rules.
Mr Shapps said requirements to pay for PCR tests before arriving and leaving England was “always temporary” and suggested they would be scrapped altogether in the future.
He added: “People should be able to travel and I don’t think we should be treating the world as if it is a dangerous place and somehow completely safe within the United Kingdom.
“Travel is an important part of regularising normal life.”
Mr Shapps said he hoped the changes would encourage a “massively important” boost to tourism in the capital.

By reducing testing requirements for fully vaxxed passengers to just a lateral flow post-arrival, we're supporting the safe reopening of international travel Airplane departure
We'll do a full review of travel measures by the end of Jan to ensure a stable system is in place for 2022 White heavy check mark

'Citadel was not the only hedge fund to be hit by renewed optimism about fortunes of the airlines sector. London-based Sandbar Asset Management amassed bets of £110m against the London-listed IAG, easyJet and Wizz Air on Dec 30.'

One of the world’s wealthiest hedge fund managers has lost millions of pounds after shares in the owner of British Airways took off.
Ken Griffin, a Chicago-based financier worth more than $21bn (£15.6bn), placed a multimillion-pound bet against IAG just hours before new data revealed the omicron variant had not dented airline bookings.
His firm, Citadel Advisors Europe, opened a 0.93pc short position - a bet of about £70m - against the BA owner on January 3. Another of his funds had already placed a 0.73pc bet against the FTSE 100 group that also owns Iberia and Aer Lingus.

Sunsurfer guessing IAG can reach 220p earlier since i believe markets will price future for IAG .
Last year IAG already pushed 220p couple times and situation was much more depressing ,
Wont be surprised if IAG push 280p+ on q4 with profit ,gla
