Plonker1234, just who are you targeting with your jibberish comments here ? Because I can tell you one thing, it certainly won’t be affecting any LTH’s views on just where GGP will be once Havieron comes on stream, producing hundreds and thousands of ounces of gold & copper at what will be one of the world’s lowest AISC. That’s massive profits whichever way you try and spin your twisted narrative.
In a world that is needing more & more copper for not only EV’s, but for far more electrification of Ai data houses, refurbishment of existing infrastructure and not to mention new infrastructure, and with copper mines already producing what the world needs right now, then copper over the next couple of years is about to soar in price, just in time for when GGP starts producing from Havieron. By that time our AISC could be far less than what was forecasted in the feasibility study due to the undoubtedly rising copper credits being attributed to it.
America alone has a deficit of 720,000 tonnes of copper per annum as it is, and you can’t just go ahead and produce more just because you need it. So inevitably copper will go on a tear over the next two years.
We LTH’s can literally just sit back and watch from the sidelines on how all this plays out, because most have built up such wealth creation from getting in early, that a few hazards between now and Havieron production is literally just like a speed bump slowing us down until the road becomes clear again, and it will, because history tells us so.
The only ones that this war is affecting and making it difficult for are the trader’s, who unless saw this coming way ahead and positioned themselves correctly, will now not know which way to turn, and I suspect you are a trader and not a long term investor. Oh well, maybe you might stumble across a short term trade that pays off for you, but to make the same amount of return on investment that many of us here have made on just one trade, you will have to do it thousands of times over. Good luck with that !
