This will follow what the other Aussie gold companies do, and pay dividends eventually. When that may be, God only knows, but investors now should be more concerned about growth not dividends.

The Aussie brokers are desperate to relieve UK holders of their shares for their own market, and if you can’t see what is happening here then more fool you !

Up until the ASX listing, 100% of all shares in issue were purchased on UK AIM market.

Upon listing Newmont released 10% (66M shares) and approximately another 7.5M shares were created by the issue of new shares as a condition of listing.

So out of a total of 670M shares now in issue, only 73.5M shares were available to trade on the ASX (11%).

Since then it’s impossible to know just how many shares have been transferred down under, but you can bet your bottom dollar that the shares that were transferred are not being traded, they will be being held very tightly indeed.

Which leaves the ASX in a bit of a quandary, just where are they going to get ten’s if not hundreds of millions of shares from, to satisfy the huge demand that will undoubtedly occur once we enter the ASX 200/300 not to mention a potential inclusion onto the GDX ?

The only place they can obtain them from is here, from folk gullible to think that all this is being played with a straight bat. Open your eyes 👀 before it’s too late !

There are approximately 250 trading days per year, and if only 500,000 shares are transferred each day over to the ASX, then that’s a whopping 125M shares that will have left these shores, only to benefit buyers down under. We are looking at possibly three more years yet before Havieron comes online, and by then the Aussies will have the majority of what once was a UK company’s shares. We’ve already given away what is to become a very big company paying taxes into the UK coffers, to now those taxes being paid into the Aussie coffers. Don’t now give away your shares too just because you can’t see the wood for the trees, and you get the idiots who quite frankly can’t see past the end of their noses telling you all sorts of $hite. Have some balls and stand up to these people, otherwise you’ll only look back in anger knowing you fell for the oldest trick in the book. Follow what your gut feeling is telling you, because emotions in your head can easily be manipulated.

And for anyone not knowing what “Retained at Overweight” means, it’s where an analyst maintains their previous recommendation that a stock should be weighted more heavily in a portfolio than its benchmark index due to continued positive expectations for its performance. Essentially, the analyst still believes the stock will outperform the market or its sector and advises investors to maintain or increase their holdings of that stock relative to the benchmark.

So tell me freddie, why are you still here, you’ve done nothing but whinge for almost 5 years now. Are you too afraid to make a positive decision for once in your life. You’re either positive and confident to hold, or you’re not, and if you’re not sell up. It really is that simple.

Just because I’m still positive on where GGP will eventually get to, doesn’t make me numb to the fact that the value of my holding has suffered, but I’m of firm belief that my investment is safe and will continue to grow year on year.

What is your belief freddie ?

You just sway in the breeze, leaning towards which ever way the wind blows, not knowing what to do and by criticising anything or anyone that shows positivity. It just goes to show what a weak person you truly are.

I post what I believe in, that can’t be said for you. You’ve never written one single post about GGP and where you see its future. You only ever post one sentence negative criticism’s. Give us a summary of what you’re thinking, because I’d love to know, but I know you won’t because you’re all just mouth with nothing constructive to add !

The difference between us freddie, is that I have belief in the project, you on the other hand have nothing but hope and knackered tumble dryer from keeping those bed sheets dry.

Talk about some of you lot losing perspective, it’s not long ago when “10p by Friday” was looked upon favourably. We’re now sat at 12p pre consolidation, which many would have bitten your hand off just a few months ago when the SP was languishing around the 5-7p mark.

Looking at the figures above, only proves that there was a lot of buying in anticipation of the ASX listing, and what it might bring.

We are where we are, and even after almost a 30% downgrade from July highs, we’re still 50% better than we were just six months ago.

Yes it’s disappointing, but as they say “Rome wasn’t built in a day”, and let’s be honest, if we were still at 17-18p, who would of sold apart from the traders. So what’s really changed apart from the stockpiles that were left, not containing as much gold as we were led to believe, fundamentally we’re still progressing, putting one foot in front of the other, marching on until we get to our goal.

The way a lot of you are behaving reminds me of the TV programme “Celebrity SAS, who dares wins” where the weak crumble at the first sign of adversity, having a hissy fit in front of the cameras. Only the strong make it to the end and claim their just rewards ! So as Peter Kay famously said, “are you a Rich Tea or a Hob Nob ?”

Rarse has given his account on how he see’s his investment, not yours, mine or anyone else’s. If he deems it fit to sell, then why should it bother you ?

Folk buy & sell on a daily basis, so why get so umpty about this investor. There’ll become a time when you decide to sell, therefore just be mindful of that fact, otherwise don’t be surprised if you also get short shrift from a certain breed of investor.

Manage your own book correctly before handing out your investment thesis, just acknowledge not everyone’s the same !

Rarseinbabylon, nobody can tell you what’s best for you, apart from you. But you stated “it’s too difficult to read right now”, so don’t read, that’s exactly what the likes of Freddie, CP, Plode and the rest of the scumbags want you to do, it’s up to you how you decide to play the hand that was dealt you, but I personally I think you will come to regret it.

ASIC sues Macquarie Securities for repeated and systemic misleading conduct.

ASIC is suing Macquarie Securities (Australia) Limited (MSAL) alleging it engaged in misleading conduct by misreporting millions of short sales to the market operator for over 14 years.

In proceedings filed in the NSW Supreme Court, ASIC alleges that between 11 December 2009 and 14 February 2024, MSAL failed to correctly report the volume of short sales by at least 73 million. ASIC estimates that this could be between 298 million and 1.5 billion short sales.

ASIC Chair Joe Longo said, ‘This action is timely given significant recent global market volatility. Accurate and reliable data underpins the integrity of, and confidence in, Australia’s financial markets. Investors expect reliable information to analyse market movements and inform their investment decisions.

‘We allege Macquarie’s failures may have led to the financial services industry relying on misleading and false information for over 14 years.

‘MSAL’s repeated systemic failure to detect and resolve these issues indicated serious neglect of its systems and disregard for operational controls and technological governance.’

Today’s announcement marks the fourth regulatory action ASIC has taken against Macquarie Group in just over 12 months.

Seems that this company just does what the feck it wants to, and ain’t to bothered about the consequences.

No wonder when the fines are such a pittance compared to how much they profit.

Hey Bijouboy, I hope you didn’t think my post was aimed at you, because it wasn’t.

As I’ve been saying for as long as I can remember, this investment is all about being patient and awaiting true value when Havieron comes online producing 9000 ounces per vertical metre.

I believe GGP will only gradually increase in SP once the institutions have what they want, and upto now they haven’t.

I pointed out about the problem I saw regarding liquidity on the ASX, and many dismissed it, but I think they are now coming round to my way of thinking.

I remember way back in 2020 I posted something on the lines of “Why did we need investment from ii’s, when GGP had already sold all available stock from its apple cart.

I personally don’t see the attraction of having a large institutional base, whereby making us Pi’s subservient to their whims. I prefer a more diverse ownership where Pi’s still have a voice and an influence.

All that aside, I still very much believe this will return many bags from when I invested and a few bags from here, but only when the institutions want it to. There’s many a twist & turn yet to come, some good, some not so, but eventually this will turn in a very positive direction for all.

The ones who have every confidence in where the company is heading and stay invested for the Big Prize, or the ones who say they are invested, but do nothing but whinge & criticise everything.

Surely you must see the irony in that. I mean, who would stay invested if you didn’t believe in the product you purchased ???????

I don’t think it’s anything to worry about Loggy, it’s definitely not after consolidation because if it was the 291M shares shown would have represented around 37% of the current shares in issue, and we know they didn’t hold anything like that sort of percentage.

Hey Freddie, of course I’m down, along with probably 99.9% of every other shareholder, whether that’s here or down under.

Am I bothered, no not at all. Why you may ask ? because I wasn’t selling, that’s why !

Until the day I decide to sell my holding, then profit or losses are only paper ones. If I reacted each time the price flickers, even by a couple of tenths, then I’m sure I would have realised by now that investing wasn’t for me, but my appetite to risk is obviously far greater than yours.

I’ve told you several times why I invested, and nothing in my research has changed my mind.

I invested because of the great opportunity Havieron presented. Telfer on the other hand, I see as a stepping stone to see my original investment pay off Big Time. Hopefully if all things go to plan, then Telfer could become the Cherry on top of the already huge cake!

But I can see now, why you are such a pessimist, after you being invested in companies such as POG.L and SXX, and after you buying in here at 22p, 24p and 32p, you’ve not exactly been blessed with good fortune have you, but that is not a reason for you to treat anyone that is comfortable in their holding with contempt. You just think everyone of the LTH’s are in some sort of kabal, all joining forces just to on masse trade this share whenever we see fit. You really do need to and see someone if that’s how you truly feel.

Hoping that Geo and GGP work out for you Fred, as you sound like you need them to !

Just makes me wonder just how much you supposedly invested here in GGP. It might just help me understand why you’re so peeved at anyone here who has made a small fortune and why you are so negative.
