Interestingly it appears that the two trades of 3M are completely different.
The one from last night was Trade No 500 at 16:34 3,000,000 @ 10.97 and the one showing up this morning was Trade No 42 showing at 16:30 yesterday 3,000,000 @ 11.0637.
So it appears they are two completely separate trades.
Big buyer in background or shorters buying back, Who knows ?
But intriguing all the same.

Saints, the 1.6M buy is still showing as is another trade for 3M.

What in god's name do you think Shaun has been doing since his appointment, sat on his thumb ?

He has turned a little known exploration company with a banker and a couple of geologist, into something that most other exploration companies can only ever dream of.
He wasn't even CEO when this hit 37p, he has inherited a situation that was caused by the GDXJ & Blackrock buying many millions of shares @ 27p & 30p respectively when we where at 19-20p.
Then we had the Rainbow Chasers jumping on the bandwagon, hoping to make a quick buck pushing it to 37p.
Those are the one's responsible for setting the bar so high, not SD.

Now as far as I can see, Shaun is working his butt off, trying his best for all us shareholders to see those days of waking up in a morning, and seeing paper profits go up each day by more than premiership footballers would earn in a week.
Now if anybody on this board deserves the right to feel a bit peeved, it is those who got in early, with a large holding and who have seen those vast profits somewhat diminished.
I feel sympathy for those of you that are underwater at the moment, I really do, but this will change soon enough.

As many of you know, I email Steve Todoruk occasionally, and I just thought I’d share his latest musings.

Hi Steve and thankyou for sending over the information regarding Filo mining.

I just want to touch base with you regarding where you currently stand with Greatland Gold (GGP).

I have a decent position with over XXXXXXXX shares invested in GGP, but after the SP severely dropping over the last 16 months, I would like you to access if your position has changed from that you had in 2020.

Fundamentally I can only see positives surrounding drill results and MRE updates, but something doesn't seem right, with the SP being constantly hammered day after day, even after all the fantastic updates.

Is it a case of just ignoring the shenanigans going on, with the like of JPM opening a short position on the company, or is it in your view, something else that has created so much uncertainty within shareholders.

According to Morningstar, Sprott Global still hold around 29M shares in GGP, and that if something was materially wrong, then I'm sure that would not be the case.

So am I missing something here, or is the market just waiting until the further 5% ownership has been agreed with NCM.

I’m still very very keen on GGP.

Right now with Newcrest having exercised their option to buy another 5% of the project at “fair value”, that is hanging over their share price with the market not knowing what to expect. The market doesn’t like anything they aren’t sure of.

Unfortunately, Shaun Day inherited the Option JV deal that his predecessor signed and Shaun has to make the best out of it. It’s to bad Gervaise gave Newcrest that option. Let’s just get it resolved and then move forward to lining up bank financing for their share of the construction costs and lots more good drilling results growing this deposit much much bigger.

Blantyreboy, apart from the Juri JV, then no other drilling of any other tenement we own going on at present.
As announced a couple of weeks ago GGP have 12 month's to drill the Rudall licence, using the A$200,000 grant awarded to them by the Western Australian Government's Exploration Incentive Scheme.

Personally I do not want any of the money in our piggy bank being spent on other tenements, until we build up a mahoosive war chest from the proceeds of income generated from Havieron.
Then they can go at all of em hell for leather at that point.

I have always said, that I had enough of these future winning lottery tickets. But I just couldn't resist from taking advantage of todays SP by rounding up the numbers in both myself & the Bride's ISA's.

Well my take on what's been happening here over the last few weeks reminds me of Colonel Custer's last stand.
The shorters are defending the suppression of the SP with everything they can get their greasy little mittens on.

Looks like another 10M dumped today, trying to stem the flow of buyers at this level. Like Hydro say's, I can see now, how this suppression is for an incoming offer for either the company or just Havieron.

Hopefully Ortex will confirm this on Monday afternoon when it will update, showing an increase of shares on loan from todays 57.42M to around 65M.
In just the last seven days we have witnessed a 25% uplift in the shares on loan position. Their charges have also gone up 28% in the last seven days, so that must be hurting like a slapped ar5e.

The BIG problem I foresee the shorters will have, is they will have to close out before any impending offer comes, because otherwise once one is announced, can you imagine what will happen to the SP.
It will cause a short squeeze, with them competing with Pi's to buy as many shares as they can upto the offer price.
And if Shaun decides to put GGP into suspension, they will be right royally fooked.

Now if you do get a chance to look at the position of the shares loaned out, one of the important things to point out is that currently to close 3M shares, it is suggesting that it would take 3.69 days. So on that basis it would currently take them a month to close their whole position.
And again, what do you think will happen to the SP once their manipulations cease, It'll be like a bun fight trying to get those shares.

All imo of course, but do your own research people.
