The sell was clearly for tax purposes. What’s more there is only a certain period when he can sell. Obviously you already know that you clown.

Was waiting on a chunky order for far too long before I crystallised a loss. Not quite sure what a chunky order would look like. At best it’s going to be like ABB, ‘here’s an order for 1 unit and we’re see how it goes’. The buyer then gets its bit of kudos and greenwash, whist AFC continues as an R&D company burning cash. The only way this share rockets is if the sector comes back into vogue. The Extreme E RNS, that led the ‘dead cat bounce’ was weak. The news was a given and actually disappointed given that it didn’t include the hoped for expansion into the paddock. Good to see McRamper still at it but the facts are that AFC is a slow burn driven by the headwinds/tailwinds of the sector; thereafter the reliance on AFC being an actually winner is a leap of faith, just like it was for the players in the dot.com boom. His so called rocket ship and a stratospheric share price should be treated with the utmost caution.

I think most shares are thinly traded at that time of the morning. Maybe traders are a bit twitchy regarding a sudden upswing here. Bit of an enigma the share price at the moment. Bar the Russian situation, things seem very positive in my mind. A move out of AIM is long overdue. Although losing the stamp duty exemption may take out some of the trading fun of this stock, it will more than be compensated by its greater creditability. Medium term it seems a great play.

Disagree, when tech sentiment changes, the hydrogen sector will lag behind any recovery, basically my local off-licence has a greater turnover than some hydrogen stocks. Ceres may be better placed but wow it seems better to wait to price average down.

Not yoyo enough if you bought in at £8-10! Seemed an easy share to trade several months ago. However, when you look at the fundamentals, the valuations of the sector do look exceptionally stretching even at these reduced levels. Nearly did my absolutes in the .com bubble, just got to get lucky to back the right nag.

You’ll find it’s to cover Sipp/ISA charges, where there is no cash in the individual’s portfolio.

They’ll have to pay stamp duty soon to buy them back.

Good advice but pretty hard not to. Will continue to be very active in the Stocky Market but need the dust to settle first. One thing for sure I will never over commit to any one stock again!

Blockme - yep whopper of a loss crystallised here, plus the opportunity of taking capital losses into next year - a total disaster. The upside is that I’ve “taken one for team” and the share price will no doubt rebound. Also liquidated some other stocks for good measure. “Timeout” in the short term, certainly not switching into anything else.

Sold the lot - good luck to those who remain. Can’t beat market sentiment and the way that this has played out in the hydrogen market. Personally I’m now coming to the conclusion that you can’t trust any Government or any commercial organisation to get on and adopt this technology and ultimately I’ve got my fossil fuels bills and aviation holidays to consider before I totally lose the lot on this. What with the main indices seeming to be in denial at the moment a likely correction there is only going to further affect this sector. Lots of regrets for not selling up earlier - I had faith till the end - but at least I’ll sleep ok this weekend.
