And the facts of the matter; 2022, some director bought £3.5k worth of shares and the contract with Extreme E has been retained. To be fair the share or has done well to hold at this level.

I’m sure everything he’s said has been in good faith, however, maybe not the players he’s dealing with. Greenwashing abounds at the moment. Cheaper to make the right noises, rather than actually commit to any actual expenditure. COP26 already seems a distant memory and in retrospect seems relatively irrelevant in the minds of politicians and decision makers at the present time.

Don’t get how anyone could short this stock at this level. No war, it goes up / war then enquiries for Darktrace products grow at an even faster pace. Plenty of other shorting opportunities if you’re discounting war.

For the Russians. Will be buying up the tech sector with all their inflated oil/gas profits.

Always easy to call foul on a falling share price. Must say it is a bit of a conundrum here. Not going to over think it though - just bought more.

I’m anticipating a very bullish outlook, when the company reports next month. Surely they must be absolutely stuffed with enquiries, given the current state of world affairs.

Yeah the shorters must be so worried! Can hardly go wrong with a rapid halving in the share price. 10 months with no tangible good news to move this into an imaginable commercial scale. How many fuel cells are we actually going to sell to any specific industry segment. . Being realistic it’s going to take an age before anyone is going to commit to a wide scale rollout. Reminds me of the programme “Tomorrow’s World back in the 1970s. Yes it’s all very exciting and the future but not quite yet. Again this is a high risk play where the McRamping on here knows no bounds.

Yep that’s how I see it. Perhaps the shorts are just part of a general basket, playing/hedging against general market falls? Not really a big issue either way to me - pretty happy with my position here.

Roadrunnr absolutely on the money. I considered AFC had de-risked once Extreme E proved the working concept of a fuel cell. In retrospect I was living on cloud cuckoo land, going along with the majority of rampers here. Like the Emperors New Clothing. For someone who thinks they understand risk I feel like a total twxt now. Proper commercialisation is years off and it remain an R & D company. My corner shop will turnover more in the meantime and is far more sustainable than AFC at this moment in time. Not even sure inexperienced private investors should be allowed near such a proposition.
