@Yankee99 - Art needs to take a leaf out of your book and increase the Sp! Lol
I can't understand people clogging up the board with ramping/deramping accusations all day!
Good news and this will fly and bad news drop these boards won't matter a jot.
Prem was as toxic a board you could of seen but nobody pays any attention and shares was diluted to the hilt now look at it. Just one example but as i say just depends on newsflow the rest is all noise lol
Come down soon has to, this is relentless buying pressure!
"Anyone on here actually talk about arb?"
Sick of hearing it all tbh, you come on here and it's everything but. Not alot to discuss at the minute but it's the same when there is.
"Confirmed today that RM have moved away from compulsory redundancies.
In 3 days Royal Mail have gone from no compulsory redundancies till after March 2023, no compulsory redundancies till January 2024 and now they say no compulsory redundancies at all. Is that the final, final offer or is ST going to negotiate a final, final, final offer? Me thinks that Simon and the team have a lot of thinking to do. To end this they now need to get back around the table and negotiate in good faith using the original Pathway to Change agreement. Change was baked into that agreement, 7 day working, deliveries up to 7pm, innovative duty structures etc etc, everything those who want change have requested. But changes that are negotiated not imposed and changes that don’t dumb down the t&c’s.”
You couldn't make it up how can you agree and stick to a deal with this lot? We had an agreement pathway to change and they just ripped it up. All of a sudden there won't be any CR's really? They magic up £1.7b but yet are skint and losing money left, right and centre lol
They don't even know what an agreement means!
@Chaiwala I'd love to spend Xmas with you lol
"@spaceman - you see your opinion is EXACTLY what the problems is, you are assuming every share holder has better living and working conditions than you? A certain bloke called Dave has exactly the same mentalilty and thinks his workers should be shielded from the cost of living crisis whilst every other person including share holders have to suffer and pay...."
Well I need a pay rise for the cost of living crisis unfortunately i haven't got the luxury to flitter away cash speculating on a Sp to pay for it lol
Pay the hard way like most honest workers do lol
Oh i forgot we don't need them now.
That's typical of a shareholders opinion it doesn't matter what workers are going through, anything that'll make the Sp go up lol
"Posties have the best salaries of most delivery workers but the best doesn't seem to be enough for them. The whole country is struggling with inflation etc but posties still want more. Bit like Oliver Twist.”
Well of course they do but for a reason to put food on the table for their kids, pay these ridiculous energy bills etc etc
Why do shareholders invest for the fun of it lol, we all want more but some have reasons other than greed.
Fwiw I know of some people that have left to go to Tesco's lol, just shows you how bad things really are!
When you look into the pay proposal it's not 9%, it's not back dated and effectively a pay cut lol. Then there's the redundancies situation and the rest of the deal has got more strings to it than the philharmonic. Absolutely nothing in it for the workers it's a bad joke.
"As a worker and shareholder I'm expecting a double shafting
Got a twat who runs the company with no idea and government thinking how much is the retail sector going to be squeezed with postage strikes
Think tide is turning and Thompson is another full of ideas leader SACKED
Simple solution great Britain is not a sweatshop and treat your people with respect and a promising future else die and end up a shadow of what we should be ?? thank **** I'm not starting on the working ladder as I really feel for the younger people of a once great country”
Just a matter of time he'll be on his merry way soon either back down and start talking sense else the chop.
"lets get a good deal and fk the speculators
CWU FOREVER"
Absolutely!
"If IDs make 10000 redundant let’s jus say the average is 15000 per person that is 150 million pounds IDS have to find I know it could be less then 15000 per person but even 10000 per person is 100 million which is a lot of money for a company making losses”
Yeah but had this kind of money been dished out to shareholders like it was we won't mention that eh? No wonder the company is in the ****e lol
"Royal Mail could and should still offer a job for life, just not one as lazy-ass Postman."
Yeah some are but you get that in any industry it's not restricted to royal mail.
PS I notice nobody comments about managers being the same on inflated bonuses. How does it look to a postman when they are supping coffee and going home early most days? Some of them walk around with a clipboard as if it's welded to their hands, if they put it down they wouldn't know what to do. If their on far better pay doing the same things what do you expect?
"dowsie there is no future for postmen/women whilst you strike and then clear up on overtime for less pay..."
Was saying the same today alot of them do overtime every week and don't even need to. It's an addiction some of them need to get a life. I'm certainly not spending mine there lol
This has always been there plan job losses and destruction striking doesn't alter that fact.
Do carry on and see what type of service you all get lol
It's just more scaremongering and bullying. How many managers were supposed to going and how many went?
"This has much lower to go, terrible company populated by lazy ‘workers’. Might dip my toe in at the 135 mark."
Lazy workers lol you've no idea I'd give you a week. Of course you can't put any blame on the company can you. Just plunder away £400m when the company with change would of been in a healthy position by now.
Mate I'm not sure what you meant by Dad's Army but you'll find I'd say 70% of staff are no older than 50.
The majority of the older ones work a damn harder and quicker than the younger ones. You'd be shocked.
