We need action now, like a board clear out before someone else does it, its getting to the stage some competitor will seize their chance and pay peanuts. Over fifty per cent of shares must be in few hands so it won't be a difficult exercise, no matter what the Welsh Government/ universities/councils say. This is a poorly managed company, it wouldn't make the main market, so come on directors say goodbye you've had a good run, investors unfortunately haven't. I have a decent holding which is way down on my average of 104.

A new CFO would help a lot, beginning to arouse suspicion , what are they worried about he/she will find?. It shouldn't take a small company like IQE this long to make a new appointment. Internal appointment won't help either. GLA

This company is embedded in socialist South Wales (where I live ) and I'm coming to the conclusion that shareholders are not held in high regard, unfortunately the directors will have to learn the hard way. Be fair serious investors wouldn't touch this with a bargepole at the present time, hence the shorters have a field day.If only the company was more forthright with news , for instance with the appointment of a new CFO it would help.The fact the position has been vacant unfortunately for six months isn't helping, if anything it is becoming worrying.I have a decent holding at 1.04 average but can't see horizon. You won't have to wait for another decade Mick-B. You are right to say profits have been sluggish, but the directors are getting towards retirement and the shares are cheap so the perfect time for a predator, some must be giving the company the look over. Rowe are looking both ways. GLA
