Happy with any of the options which significantly increases the share price and reflects closer to fair value.
The beauty with THG is that the options are endless, uniquely 3 separate business all rolled up in 1, and all of them valued at absolute peanuts.
And something SIGNIFICANT has to take place before the golden share expires, less than 10 months, tick tock!!!
Some real possibilities:
- Management Buyout (With the Qataris, Matt has talked about taking it back private many times. This can now happen in an instant, Qataris just need to hand over their loose pocket change!)
- PE Buyout (6 month close period for all previous bidders ends in a few weeks, will they return with improved offers, or offers that BOD would now accept?? We know there were some real bids, from credible well known companies not reported at the time)
- Premium Listing/Drop of Golden Share (Narrative would change, City have never liked the Golden Share. THG would enter atleast the FTSE250, and index funds would have to buy in etc). Carry on trading and prove everyone wrong.
- Sell any 1 of the divisions, eg THG Nutrition mentioned, give a special dividend to all current holders!
- List THG Ingenuity in the US, separate listings mentioned before
- Strategic Investment in any one of the divisions (At the time of the Softbank deal, there were other multiple interested parties in THG Ingenuity, they rightly/wrongly CHOSE Softbank at the time!)
Major deals take time, CEO/Chairman are certainly super duper confident, they have well and truly put their money where their mouth is. Said it before, anyone know of any other CEO/Chairman that have bought upwards of £40 million of shares with their own cash??? I am guessing, NONE, not even remotely close! Through the constant FUD (how weird they have all gone eerily quiet for now), and media bashing/manipulation through illegal Short & Distort tactics, market has completely ignored these HUGE HUGE buys. Other companies, CEO buys even £50k, and it rockets. Not here, with £40 million+!!!!!!
More than happy to sit tight and wait for the £££, as AS1 says, diamond hands.
