Both members and non members get charged 1.99 for a returns. Even if you shopped online weekly and did a return per week it's 100 quid for the year vs fuel, parking etc etc which would equate to a 3rd of that 100 quid for one trip to town.

The online world is changing and evolving and it will stop idiots over ordering which is also better for the environment.

Recoveries can take years, they also dont recover all in one day and nobody knows just when the recovery will start so this whole invest elsewhere for a while is nonsensical.

Reprr - it's likely a last ditch attempt to get as many mortgages on the current higher rates, before rates come down. It will definitely drive house prices up to some degree as people will ultimately use it to allow them to spend more on a house. It will also increase buyers in the market.

Don't believe that 2007 couldn't repeat itself though as greed has a short memory.

Go and see for yourself - all of these companies have followed the same path with a falling share price due to a drop in sector performance...

However, online spend is still above pre covid levels and so is the revenues of both boohoo and asos...

What you are going to see now is a recovery in the sector and a recovery in the revenues and share prices of all these companies.
