RE: Locked in? Not any more!25 Apr 2025 16:00
Thanks Dansey, it’s a near impossible task as an outsider to quite say whether NFX will be a success, so maybe first of all we should identify what we see as ‘success’.
Firstly I guess there is technical / pharmaceutical success. Does the product (NXP002) work and will it reach market?
As we all know, the majority of drugs in development don’t reach market and fail at clinical stage. So the key for Nuformix is more about whether they can realise some form of value on the potential.
So, will they successfully outlicence NXP002? This is think is a strong chance of success.
The company has indicated that there are multiple parties involved in talks and that they have undertaken further research at the request of them.
To me this shows that interested parties are looking at how they would position NXP002 within their portfolio, potentially looking at using it as complementary to their existing or late stage clinical development drugs. This then brings the possibility of entering clinical trials an advanced stage.
So, whilst I only have limited info to go on, the fact that there are likely 3 or 4 interested parties would make me say there’s a 50% or more chance of signing some form of outlicence.
Finally we then come to what price we judge being a success. For my sins, I have an average price of 0.51p now for 20m shares. So, anything that gives a mcap of £20m or above will see the sp above 1p and then I’ll see based on the info that comes to light that gets us to that position (if we do get to that position).
