I must be reading a different RNS to you “happy chaps”. Flying hours DOWN 35% on 2019, debt at £4 BILLION. Didn’t they have a debt of around £5 billion 3months ago, they paid off £2 billion from the ITP sale —— 5-2=3, so they have lost another 1 billion in the last 3 months.
Yes, lots of upbeat future contracts, but they are in the future. No mention of SMR’s?

I did take a look earlier today after you posted, but didn’t jump in as was too busy with a couple of other trades I was looking at. I will certainly do some research later tonight with the view to investing tomorrow, if all looks good to me. Thanks for the heads up.

PS I’m not a cine holder, just a day trader. In today at 6.4 pence, back out at 7.6. So bought not at the bottom and sold below the top price, but a nice trade all the same.

I agree. Just a thought here, RR would have costed work done for the past three months at least a year ago, when inflation/costs would have been much lower than where they are now. I wonder if their finance dept had the foresight to write an “exceptional circumstance” clause into those contracts. Otherwise they could be in for a hit—-just a thought, not trying to deramp . Although I would snap the shares up in the 65-70 pence range.

But I understand everyone has their own ways to gamble, yes Rolls Royce IS a gamble, as are all shares.

You won’t have made a huge profit from cine yesterday then, only up 200%. Up today as well what a great day trade this is.

Yeah may have missed out. Still think it will dip thurs/fri, but probs not to 65p. I’m not confident the results will be good on Thursday, but I stand to be corrected.
My money hasn’t been lazy though as I made a nice little earner on Cine this morning, in at 5.4p and out 7.5 just over an hour later. I do believe in Rolls Royce though & think that in a couple of years the shares will be trading in the £2-£3 range. Just my opinion though.
