Im keeping a close eye on the situation in Zimbabwe as previously after missing the diamond deal by a day, we learned the truth that in fact it was the hurricane that delayed the deal. I am very much prepared for Covid-19 to be a cause of further delay in time as reports from Zim seem to suggest that the virus numbers are being supressed.

Unfortunately, it would seem as ever with VAST, history has a chance of repeating itself, so best be eyes wide open to what may OR may not happen.

If people want to blindly trust AP then fair enough but for me this last series of RNS' typifies why a number of people have been critical where AP is concerned. Full production was based on a 6 month ramp up plan to achieve full production by the end of H1, or end of June.

Now all of a sudden the end of H1 isn't mentioned but they are clinging to the '6 month timeline'. Which has a starting date of who is quite sure and a finish date probably 2 months past end of June. So by my reckoning its end of August for full production at BP.

The company should be honest and re adjust its H1 comment than try to make more spin. You start adding this to all the other stories, the money for trucks, there wont be another placing, BANG another placing and you can see why lth of 3 plus years like myself are extremely nervous about the Zimbabwwe statements re the Chiadzwa deal. I mean its not like we haven't had the same false start before.

I have everything crossed we hear something very shortly from Zimbabwe.

You would think 0.2 would hold as support but feels like crunch time coming though re Zimbabwe. Company are feeding a bit of a story into the market IMO re Romania. It's well off track for the original timescale was set at. Full production for H1 just isn't going to happen now. I guess they hope they pull off the Diamonds and BP production issues get lost in the big news.

Of course the flip side is what if no diamonds by the next 2 weeks? IMO, Ill give it another week before worrying about the diamonds now coming and will continue to asses the situation worldwide and in Zim itself.

0.2 is strong support here, that is plus point whilst it holds - which given the market is quite notable.

In terms of a take over target at this price.

The BoD need to focus on getting the price up or it will end up being bought for a 20p and ai can't see DBAY allowing that to happen.

Let's hope the diamonds come along to steal the show.

Feel AP is taking the mick a bit over BP. The obvious timeline for BP was in full production by end of H1. For some reason he cant seem to bring himself to recognise that timeline instead citing a 6 month timeline which ends now way past H1.

AP really needs to be straight up with the market, something he seems, IMO, unable to do. Disappointed.

I think the reveal on the contract win is going to blow people's minds. With the company back on a level footing expect other contracts to land too.
