Looks like a worked buy the fuelled the rise.
It can only ever be an assumption of course but on big blue days large trades are normally buys on big red days they are normally sells.
As we all know Boris likes a u turn and a second bite at the cherry when the realism of what he has suggested first has set in.
These sanctions are only the start and reflect that it's only the start of the Russian invasion - more to come over the next few days.
Of course sanctions are only the start I'm currently trying to see if the chart patterns have merit in saying lower before higher.
Chart has potential to go to 8p on a harmonic pattern on the daily. I'm honestly wondering if this is possible, as to me this seems below my previous 13p low forecast.
I guess all out war or just the game Putin may play tit for tat with UK companies and their licences the same way the UK has targeted the rich oligarchs.
To be honest when you look at the parallels, you can see why Putin could go doen that route.
As I said before let's hope it does ot come to this as the assets are world class and are worth a pretty penny to whomever holds the licences.

Going to be a gloomy day across all markets again tomorrow.
Russia unfortunately are going to appear so untrustworthy to many its going to be hard for anyone including the Chinese and Japnese to do business with them.
As fsr as I can see they are on the first steps to being ostracised from the rest of the world.
Let's hope Putin comes to his senses soon and we an all put this sorry mess behind us.
Look out for those opportunities in the market amd take advantage.
I think good news close, maybe tomorrow even the way this is finishing.
Strong stuff , really looking to cut down their chances of raising money using UK companies to benefit the Russians.
15.5P TO 17P
Weakening book maybe buy again later.
The games, the games,

FT saying Biden is too.
I think the next few sessions are going to be red all over the place even for those not directly involved.
Think 18p will now break in short time tomorrow then it's all down 16p support.
Still seeing 13.05p as the very bottom.
Exactly Mark.
Unfortunately the market has top many inexperienced sheep investors these days - unable to think clearly for themselves.
Unfortunately people have been saying for ages Elon Musk is interested in the Nickel and hyping the price. You can't have it both ways. Our one credible buyer doing DD could easily have been western.
Whilst I agree a Russian, Chinese or Japanese buyer maybe unaffected the fact is thete is uncertainty it could all fall apart. It may not also .
You have people in telegram group I'm in attempting to silence any mention of the biggest SP affecting issue at present, its laughable.
I sit back and watch these Billy Big Ballz try and control whats going to happen to a 500m MCAP company. I think they have over inflated egos personally.
The chart actually points to 13.25p. I notice alot of suppression occurring in various group. Some have taken up alot on margin I believe and cant afford the price to go against them that far is the rumour.
I'm sorry but no one will conclude any assets purschases let alone ones so huge for sometime yet, given the backdrop.
Ask yourself if it was your £3 billion, would you be risking it?
for Putin to strike against the Western companies and remove mining licences etc from them.
He doesn't need to invade but he can do what he likes. After all see the rules he has changed to keep himself in power and free from prosecution.
To say it can't or couldn't happen even without war, is to be naive about dealing in this part of the world.
I wonder what timeframe we might be looking at for this to complete?
