I am also I'm hoping for something pretty good for Q2 Paul, but it depends on CEY hitting target of ounces mined and not falling short or scraping by. Apologies for being a "doubting Thomas" but I have yet to br convinced, in this respect Horgan et al have yet to develop a track regard of comfortably meeting / exceeding targets. Lots of promises and if there was ever a time for more ounces it is now.

I would prefer a share price that is rising not one that has just dropped 12% on the RNS

Hi DASUT, for me your comments and reasoning on Cowichan's post re the strategic gold extraction project were most welcome and well received.

I am also grateful to Cowichan for posting the original link and for bringing this topic to the attention of the CEY LSE diaspora.

On reading the post and the link I didn't draw the same conclusion he did and came to the conclusion by myself (reinforced by your helpful clarification, it was perhaps a positive move and step in the right direction for control of artisanal gold extraction which could have positive benefits for all involved.

I also see Cowichan's comments re the political one county risk a valid topic perhaps not the conclusion he came to but that for me is a great benefit of the CEY LSE chat room, the freedom of ,members to post, right or wrong, what they think, and for other members, as you did to rationally and knowledgeably comment / debate the topic.

Wise words Dasut about needing to look at the future, but with one caveat, for me the elephant in the room is gold production.

Shareholders and management have been fortunate to have had a period of high gold price but it is now time for Horgan and crew to consistently and reliably deliver 500k+ gold ounces per year from Sukhari.

Also time to stop coming up with excuses for barely achieving targets, underperformance and to stop kicking the can down the road.

Despite the future looking bright I don't yet see evidence of Horgan and crew doing locking down gold production.

I await each quarter gold production announcement with trepidation, wondering will they comfortably hit target and what will be the excuse this time.

If it was good / better than other returns he wouldn't be selling.

Mr T perhaps worth an add to your history post would be the massive share sell off (approx 52,000,000 shares) by Josef El-Raghy in 2016 / 2017. In hindsight a very big red flag.

If the whistle blower him or herself is genuine then the appropriate action would be to report the allegations to the management of Centamin and applicable authorities. Discussion on this board without input of the whistleblower him or herself and / or without facts is just irresponsible sensationalist gossip.

Centamin like many other clients working in an international environment strive hard to maintain corporate ethics, as well as good and fair business practices.

Having spent many years working in procurement in an international contracting environment in my opinion there can be challenges, and yes rogue Procurement Managers can exist (thankfully few and far between in recent years) but that there are no "poor contractors", only those who participate in bribery and corruption and those that don't. Those that do so participate by choice.
