Does anyone have a view on future growth:

-> Reserve & resource growth

As an ex-CEY shareholder of the potential of the eastern Egyptian desert which I believe AU secured at a knockdown price.

As an AngloGold Ashanti shareholder I am mindful of its global reach and the cash mountain that AU is accumulating.

Please, any thoughts and comments on this topic would be welcome and appreciated.

The old CEY LSE chat room was a good source of debate and knowledge.

I have an UK ISA. Is it possible to receive my AU dividends as shares in the ISA instead of cash dividend and how do I do it.

Same here Goldnome, it really is amazing the higher amount transfers seem to go more slowly. I hada substantial payment delayed at Christmas which should have gone through before the Christmas break but didn't and was considerably delayed. I had a go at HSBC over it and after a lengthy phone call and a letter of complaint I received compensation for the late transfer. Now waiting on an internal transfer where I converted USD to AUD, why this one is being delayed iI really don't know. It should be on my account tofay but the AUD amount is ot not showing as available funds. A pity because I wanted to buy some more shares in Ramelius. C'est la vie. Politicians and banks .....

I received a message from ii saying the dividend was paid in two parts and the second part will be paid today.

I replied reminding ii the dividend should have been paid on 5 September, queried the reason for the delay and asked what are they doing to prevent reoccurrence in the future.

Incompetence or design us shareholders suffer while ii and or its counterpart is sitting on our cash.

Ii paid me 12.5 cents a share instead of 80 cents.

The last dividend was 12.5 cents so it could be an error on the American side of the process.

I am with ii as well.

Not sure how to get USD dividend paid direct into a nominated account to avoid the ii system. However not a problem up to present as my Anglogold shares are in a normal trading account so I receive the dividend in USD.

I became UK tax resident 😞 this year so would be well interested in if there is a way to keep the dividend in USD for the Anglogold shares I put in an ISA, albeit only £20 k worth.

I received AU dividend on my ii account on 18-June.

Same here Sotolo, no dividend yet on my ii account.

AngloGold Ashanti plc declared an interim dividend of $63 million or 12.5 US cents per share for the first quarter 31 March 2025. Ordinary shares trade ex-dividend is 28 May 2025. Record date is 30 May 2025.

Payment date is 13 June 2025. Last date to trade ordinary shares cum dividend is 27 May 2025.

Sorry to see this. A nightmare scenario being denied the ability to buy shares on your trading account.

I tried a dummy trade to purchase AU shares using my ii account, all seems to be in order, The only change being the settlement period has changed from T+1 to T+2.

I am with ii and sold 10% of my AU holding. No problems whatsoever. The longer I'm withh ii the more impressed I am.

In recent news, AngloGold Ashanti plc (NYSE:AU) officially inked a model agreement with the Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority (EMRA) to exploit gold ore and associated minerals in various areas in the eastern desert of Egypt.

According to Karim Badawi, Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, the deal marked the new beginning for the mining sector and will open horizons for other international players to bolster mining in gold and other minerals.

Funds cleared on ii account this morning

I received Anglo Ashanti dividend on my ii account this morning, but the funds are not cleared yet.

I am thinking of Falmouth and the surrounding area, but very much at the exploration stage at the moment.

I am flexible as location because after 25 years living and working abroadI I retired in 2023 and will relocate from Thailand on a "snow bird basis"
