What? SML grades are higher than TUN but TUN has much more tungsten on both a resources base (about 35x) and on a contained tungsten base (about 6x).

I used to be invested in SML but I've actually sold out of it and I'm only in Tungsten West and Fireweed now. When I look at SML vs TW, it looks to me like the market is currently saying that a tonne of tungsten (contained tungsten - not the JORC resource) at SML is CURRENTLY worth almost twice as much as a tonne of tungsten at TW, which I don't think makes sense when you consider that TW is open-pit, capex-lite, and basically ready to start digging, whereas SML is underground and some way off.

@TungstenInvestor I'm also invested in Fireweed Metals, who have a huge high-grade tungsten deposit in Canada, as well as a zinc project. They have government support and really good backing. They're listed in Canada, but I was able to buy via HL

I applied for £100k and only got £6k, which is less than I was hoping for, but every little helps I suppose. Did anyone apply for a high amount and get it?

Given that the RNS says "The Retail Offer is expected to close at 4:30 p.m. on Friday 6 February 2026 and may close earlier at the discretion of the Company or if it is oversubscribed" I'd hope that they'd close it before it's subscribed ten times over...

Yes, I'm surprised this hasn't gone down more, but happy that it hasn't yet as I've subscribed to the placing! I suppose a lot of retail investors just don't keep up with these things day-to-day. Plus, we shouldn't lose sight of the fact that despite the disappointing price this is actually massive news - incredible financing progress. I suspect one reason why the price is low is that they've been negotiating this for a while and debt funding is contingent on this, so it was either 1) kill these negotiations, go back to the market, and kill the debt funding at the same time or 2) wrap up the funding ASAP, even if the equity portion isn't perfect, and get cracking. It's a bit frustrating but I don't blame them for choosing option 2.

Which platform are you using for the placing? Nothing on HL yet...

Awful price, I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't make it through shareholder approval. And nor should it.

Out of all the tungsten projects, this one is most likely to get funded IMO. Permitted, short time to production, great returns

Apologies @40034427, you're right. Some of the CLN still has to convert, which will give TUN 1.3bn shares and a market cap of ~400m at today's prices

@40034427 - the current TW market cap takes the extra 600m shares from the loan conversion into account, I think. 775m shares total * 30p per share = ~230m market cap.

Haha that's why I posted about it here actually. It's odd that both are very similar projects and have done so well but this board is busy and the other isn't! Just how things go I suppose

I think it goes without saying that, while this is all great, SVML is not going to have 7 trillion dollars in annual revenue (70x Nvidia's revenues), or anything close to it.

Nonetheless, I still recommend that anyone wanting exposure to silver should go and invest in a separate silver company, rather than suggesting that GGP should buy one. Similar for anyone wanting exposure to AI chips, defence, or consumer electronics.

Okay, maybe you should go and find a silver stock to invest in then? Greatland Gold, the clue is in the name.
