Had commenced Phase iii trials of molnupiravir. It has stopped after an interim analysis of phase iii trials showed promise and has applied for FDA approval. So AZD1656 may have enough data to do the same as there are 3 phase ii and many other trials that have been run around the world although Arcadia is the only COVID specific trial, they could take this to a fast track phase iii with Govt backing or possibly even skip phase iii if they have enough data on the biological effects of AZD1656 that can explain the reduced mortality...........
We already know it is safe to use they just need to explain and understand it's mechanism of action in reducing inflammation and the migration of T-cells etc.
