Pursuant to the LoI, it is proposed that approximately 50,000 of the Company's Halcyon devices will be installed. The Customer has multiple sites in 24 UK cities which will now be surveyed to assess the individual requirements for each site. It is envisaged that the installations will begin during the summer months when the student accommodation is vacant. The benefits of the reduced operational costs come from cloud based monitoring rather than the traditional engineer site visit approach, with maximum benefit for the Customer being derived from the connection of the accommodation sites to the halcyon cloudBMS system.

Hampshire-headquartered PhotonStar LED has secured a letter of intent for the roll-out of its lighting system across a portfolio of student properties.

The agreement is from a specialist developer of student accommodation and follows a nine-month trial of the listed company's Halcyon Internet of Things (IoT) platforms.

The initial trial, which took place in 167 rooms on one site, was said to have demonstrated "significant maintenance savings" to the customer.

About 50,000 of PhotonStar's devices are now set to be installed across properties in 24 UK cities, with work set to begin over the summer.

Its more commercial than domestic Jimmy both huge markets, but where the domestic market was quick to react with devices like Nest etc the commercial sector had very few if any offerings and certainly I dont think any that were retrofittable like halcyon. Quick and simple to install to existing circuits and devices this is the major plus of halcyon! You dont have to replace everthing with smart tech you simply monitor and control it via a smart sensor bolted onto the circuit or device

Out weighing sells by some margin :-)

Â The Halcyon V2 platform also provides a full cloud based environment for the monitoring of buildings including leaks, room occupancy, temperature, CO2, humidity and noise. Finally, Halcyon V2's technology has been developed in conjunction with feedback which has been received from customers and now allows advanced rules and notifications of potential problems via email and SMS.
