Dont talk such utter rubbish the future is retrofit no company in their right mind will spend massive amounts on new kit to replace perfectly good kit when you can buy a simple, cheap fast to fit device that will do everything the the kit with built in iot will do! Take the freezer lets say 15k for new iot ready unit + £500 to hire a crane to get the old unit out and new unit in + £150 for an eletrician to wire it in + £150 for a refrigeration engineer to commission it + £100 to hire a freezer in whilst all this takes place or 2hrs for psl to instal a wireless monitoring device onto my existing freezer at a cost of say £500.
I know what i'd go for :-)

Retrofit on a commercial unit Andre! Why would we spend 10k on a whole new freezer with inbuilt iot? We already have a freezer just need a cheap fast solution, in steps psl :')

A large walk in freezer at work which failed last Sunday and we lost 2k+ of food and freezer cost 1.2k to repair! If only there was a simple retrofit device that could monitor and text or email if there was a problem giving me time to save the stock and turn off the unit so all it would of needed was a presssure test a simple repair and re gas instead of an expensive replacement compressor!

Your embarrassing yourself about time some of your buddies turned up to help you out lol
