Hi Tom you know as much as me I am in contact with NY. but failed to speak this week as I do most Saturdays because there hour went on last week and they were up and about when I rang as I only ring on weekends because they are very very busy during the week . Things are not looking very good at the moment especially due to the Ant and Dec situation at the moment I really think that a change of partnerships there is needed certainly if only to hold onto sponsors but we will have to wait and see . What I think is more important is something I personally can not understand is the connection with Liberty Brokers who apes to be holding 20% of the voting rites , also they seem to be always mentioned grabbing more , is this to enable Liberty to achieve a cheap takeover?.

You have made some very good points Paulhunt , I for one know the values of TV production having close connection to it in America , However as far as Liberty are concerned I can not see them making a move until there is more light at the end of the tunnel as far as Brexit is concerned as is all of America . One of the biggest problems Britain wil� have when it does evolve is how long will it take to sort out the amount of trade deals it will have after wards ,A very big job I would say , the more it goes on the more I feel it was not such a good idea , However I do hope I am wrong in my reasonings (perhaps I am just having a senior moment.

I see where you are coming from friend but there are a lot of knowledgeable people who think differently to that .I really think that there will be a lot more interest in ITV TO COME YET .

I do not think we can refer to our new CEO as just a puppet she has got a pretty good record to bring with her . I have probably been in this share longer than most , With all this takeover talk going on one has to be surprised that this share is not being grabbed up all round ,but I really do not think that Liberty will make a move until after the Brexit has been sorted out . But that is just an opinion but it s based on hearing remarks from the CEO of Liberty who I know thinks that ITV is a very well run company which would go covert well with Virgin .

Are we not all kicking ourselves but then people were expecting itv to be well over �2 by now .

That is alright for some who know they are going to be here but when one is in the departure lounge time gets a bit tight .

Getting really browned off here in Tenerife not to bothered about itv price it really semi spoils things thinking of all you guys in UK HAVING ALL THAT AWFULL WEATHER it has nearly spoilt my holidaty here . Just keep the price rocking and rolling up .

Tom I just can not understand it there has been such a lot of trading today and this has happened ,I really did anticipate a rise of that amount not a drop , Any way let us hope there is something big about to take place .

This fall is also a lot to do with the market makers I think when they recover so will ITV .

There is plenty of buying going on still , As far as the results go they were certainly not as bad as I was led to believe the ad revenue has really done well and I think people who are worried about how the football World Cup series will turn out need not to be to concerned really as I am sure something will turn up . All in all a good time to buy if I did not hold so many I would be buying

The forthcoming bidding war for Skye should help to shake things up a bit me thinks.

If anyone was expecting Virgin to have paid out they were absolutely mindless for ITV to withdraw from Virgin what would then the advertisers do .

That is correct and with figures shortly to be announced they will be keeping very mumb for fear of being acused of insider dealing .

Let�s hope you are right Tom as long as another set back turns up . I really do think that ITV is grossly under valued and not been very tightly managed for the last year or so . The reins need tightening and getting things straightening up . Tv is a very complex business and there is an awfull lot of finance needed but if watched over very carefully very rewarding . A typical example is Libertys all three media if you take a peek at all the Twenty or so units within that group all with there own President or Md think of all the head aches there are there .
