What a load of rubbish that the government would step in and prevent a takeover every thing on the ft is for sale to the right bidder . For instant Royal Mail being taken over ITV has been liable to a take over for years now and it will take place sooner or later .

Well I do not know about you guys but I’m having a great day today with all my shares that is to say all three of them all bough for pennies and kept Rolls 60 p now on the way to £6 itv paying good dividends and hopefully Lloyds is going to start to perform well .

I can not understand why they waste their time making stupid comments on here when they are so certain the shares are going to drop why on Earth don’t. They sit and wait patiently and read a good book or somthing like scratching there backsides .

What a load of waffle we seem to be getting blasted over this page now for goodness sake can sombody write somthing usefull instead of saying how clever they are and going off with Russian bimboes ect .

So many others have predicted a record year for the FT .

Must be a good time to buy more at this moment in time .

Could be she was checking the value or possibly the offer prices that were likely to be coming with so much bud talk .

Exactly Pogo if they had experienced and taken notice of the sometimes absolute shut down of many tv production units that have taken place in the states over the last two years and more they would now apreciate our co and give her some credit.

There seems to be some very knowledgeable remarks being offered on this board at the moment,has any body got an idea of who should be running ITV . For my honest opinion if I were to think like many seem to I would have leftitv and find somewhere else to be invested in .

That’s interesting Radio Gent because you will appreciate the pressures the co of Itv have been under these last two or three years , my daughter was at Optomen New York prior to it ceasing production and dismissing everybody

Has any body denied they were contemplating a takeover or is this just speculation .

Why in heavens name are people selling this share today I would have thought it should be buzzing .

Jed don’t be so down cast just wait till it gets to your price and sell up and leave others to do the same at least for once we have some good news taking place .

I do not see these idiotic messages anymore as they became so boring but even now they criticise well the proof will be in the pudding and it very much looks like our good Lady CO. is going to be receiving her just rewards for her efforts to keep ITV going in very adverse circumstances.

I did think that the extra buys yesterday were probably pointing to somthing . Yes we can hope for the best this time having experienced one steady takeover rumour when the shares shot up to £2 plus which did not come off however I am still here and have kept buying on the lows now just hope for the best.

I did used to enjoy this site for sensible informative comments. That seems to have died out now and given way to a lot of twaddle .
