RE: Get real6 May 2022 11:13
I too (maybe I am not speaking for the above posters) but I most definitely think the bashing of Mr. Sandler that has taken place this week has been unjustified.
I find that he was between a rock and a hard place, that he was doomed no matter what.
Well, unless the share price had a significant rise, I assume.
Last week it was well documented on this board that HEMOGENYX had in previous years been a last minute boy, when it came to the annual financial statement, and true to form they did not disappoint in this regard, this time around either.
I was happy, that it was not released during trading hours last Friday. It gave me time to read the announcement properly.
And to pass on the good news about being well funded, to start clinical trial, to a friend and an investment company.
A thing I would have been hesitant to do, without the knowledge about HEMOGENYX's cash balance.
So, I am now glad, that those entities have a chance to get in at this low price, should they desire to do so.
For me, it is another week closer to a potential windfall that I would like to invest here in Hemogenyx.
And I would love it to be at this price level.
So, from a purely selfish point of view, I'll be happy to see the share price remain at this level for the next 3 months.
Is this the reason that I am willing to defend Mr. Sandler, maybe partly unsubconsiosly, who knows. But I would like think it is more because I actually like the way he acts or the reason why he acts as he does.
This is me assuming his reasons are as follows: preserve cash, dedicate EVERY SINGLE penny to research (and some to the team). Let the science do the talking, I find it refreshing that I have a CEO who is not out there pumping the share price, if just all CEO's where honest like that, I would have saved some money on companies that I took a gamble on and lost on.
My take on why the share price is not moving, has not really changed.
The market appetite is just not there at the moment, not for the state we're currently in. (Despite it being a fantastic state)
So when will it change?
1. When we become clinical?
2. When we have a positive feedback on a phase 1 trial?
3. When a JV or collaboration is announced?
4. When a lump-sum and profit sharing is agreed?
5. When HEMOGENYX becomes cash generative?
6. When dividends starts to be paid?
If point 2 does not happen, then forget about point 3-6.
If and it is a big IF the market has not reacted positively by point 6, then it must mean that the market is either broken or does not know what we are sitting on.
Then we can only sit back and enjoy the dividends.
Not the worst position to be in, when a share trades in less then 2 pence:-))
