A Pre-emptive move - The future is bright30 Nov 2023 20:37
I think we have a lot to be grateful for with the raising earlier this week, but first a disclaimer.
Upon reading the RNS on Monday 27-11-2023, I thought it might be a good idea to invest the money allocated for Christmas for a quick profit.
Boy, was I wrong.
Being so close to becoming clinical, I failed to anticipate, that Hemogenyx might raise funds at this low level upon releasing a good RNS.
If I were to sell the shares I bought Monday, purely with the intention of a quick turnaround and small profit, there would be significantly less money for presents, food etc.
But, that is all on me.
I know, I should only invest with a 5-10 year time horizon, I have heard that so often that I ought to be able to recite it backwards if I was woken up in the middle of the night.
So after some effing off and feeling sorry for myself and reckoning that this is just typical of my luck, I decided to look on the bright side.
Whoever has decided Hemogenyx, needed to raise a sum in the region of 500.000 must surely have done their homework and calculated that that is what is needed to tie us over until we reach the anticipated significant milestone of becoming a clinical company.
So now no one has to fear that a placing is right around the corner to keep the lights on and no one can create FUD about it.
Not only that, but it is enough money to speed up the process of their ambitious plan to deliver expeditiously and also allocate further funding to CBR.
So, I choose to look at the raising as a positive, although I might be swearing a bit again if my Christmas dinner is going to have to consist of a chicken instead of a duck.
But hey, who am I to complain, there are unfortunately too many people out there who are far worse off and don't even have a roof over their heads this winter.
