I can’t tell you what to do but if you’re going to sell make sure you sell as high as possible so that you have the option to buy lower. Ie don’t sell after it’s dropped as then it might bounce higher and you’re stuck. One thing I’ve done in the past when at a loss is sell half so as to edge my bets in case a price rises. Then if it drops, buy in lower and if it rises, leave it until it’s broke even to cover the loss on the shares I sold. But that strategy might not be applicable for tomorrow if a drop is looking guaranteed. Good luck.
£6 target was for 2 years time for the £150m bonuses (Mahmud kamani, Neil Catto, Carol Kane).
John Lyttle and Umar kamani are targeted to around £4.90 share price for their bonuses.
All these people will want their bonuses so will likely do whatever it takes to get there.
Here you go PP, this is my positive contribution.
I checked #boycottboohoo hashtag again on instagram last night and it still has less than 400 posts. Meanwhile #boohoo is full of thousands of posts of people showing off their new purchases...
Also PLT has just launched in UAE. Nearly half of boohoo group sales are international and this is growing which mitigates the need for UK supply chain and also they won't be seeing UK press.
Basically I don't think sales will be significantly impacted, probably still growing. Boohoo are shrewd and will adapt.
Results and update of supply chain are both scheduled for September, which in my opinion is deliberate as they will likely plan to do a double whammy (supply chain improvements and a strong trading update).
This isn’t new news about Leicester or boohoo. It’s PR from ASOS to show they’ve kept their noses clean. That’s why I shared it on the Asos page. Boohoo will be making changes, I have no doubt. And people still buy Nike and nestle and apple so I still maintain that I don’t think sales will be drastically affected.

Psquared short £20m according to daily mail. Shadowfall still claiming to be short on twitter in the last half an hour, @lordshiptrade and @shadowfallCR if you want to check for yourselves. (Both probably got people posting on here).
Money is all anyone cares about in this (sadly). Shorters will keep fighting. Boohoo BOD will try every tactic they can think of to protect their wealth. I wouldn't be suprised if there are more and more announcements from them and PR charm offensives. I have no idea what the final outcome will be but I don't expect sales revenues to be affected much. Nearly half Boohoo group sales are international and will probably keep growing lessening a need for UK production. https://www.boohooplc.com/sites/boohoo-corp/files/all-documents/result-centre/2020/boohoo-com-plc-annual-report-2020-hyperlink.pdf
Apologies if this has already been posted. So many messages these days I don’t read most.

John Lyttle in the times on Friday is quite reassuring they will clean up any issues in supply chain

A few articles in today’s Sunday times. None of which are really new news. A positive one about an Asos supplier (which doesn’t help Boo but may reassure Asos holders). One article is relishing blaming the labour council for Leicester’s problems. Just my view but I think a right wing paper may enjoy pinning this on a labour council as the prime cause of the problems whenever they have the opportunity going forwards. Time will tell.
Agent b check influencers Instagram pages. I can’t give you a list sorry as I don’t know.
However I just checked tiktok #boycottboohoo has 2003 views whereas #boohoohaul (where people show off what they bought) has 2.2million views. And #boohoobabes over 19m views.
One thing to consider and I don’t have the stats is the amount of bad press abroad. is there much? PLT just launched in UAE. A good proportion of sales are international and that’s growing. So I think supply chains in other regions may even become more important. I don’t have the stats to hand but it will be on the investors website the % of international sales.
I do hope this episode cleans up supply chains and I personally would like more transparency but I don’t expect it to impact sales much.
