There isn't much information about how long it takes for a company to apply to the FCA to restore its ordinary shares to trading on the London Stock Exchange's Main Market, but here's some information about the London Stock Exchange Main Market:

Eligibility

To be eligible for listing on the London Stock Exchange Main Market, a company's securities must have an aggregate market value of at least £30 million.

Reporting requirements

Companies must publish an annual financial report within four months of the end of their financial year. The report must be available to the public for at least ten years.

Securities

The Main Market offers a variety of securities, including shares and depository receipts, to potential investors.

You would have thought that if it was a bust and things were not progressing well we would have heard by now. 31st August not too far away. (Only good news, I hope). It’s been a tortuous journey though.

Guild’s 4th team entry into the EWC.

Here’s hoping a major sponsorship deal is announced before the start of the EWC.

It’s a difficult one agreed. The better top tier pro players cost more to bring on board. Without major sponsorship deals it’s very challenging for Guild to become one of the top esports clubs.

They need major sponsorship deals. Hopefully in time they will come as the esports sector grows.

Guild strengthens presence at Esports World Cup

Guild Esports PLC (LSE: GILD; OTCQB: GULDF), a global gaming-focused media business, is pleased to announce that the Company's professional Street Fighter player, Chiu "Rainpro" Chin-yat, has qualified for the Esports World Cup (EWC).

Rainpro secured his place in the EWC after finishing 7th in the highly competitive DreamHack Summer 2024 tournament ("DreamHack") in Jönköping, Sweden on Friday, 14 June. At the EWC, he will compete for a share of the $1m Street Fighter prize pool; the Company will receive 35% of any winnings he secures at the event.

Guild will now be represented at the Esports World Cup across three events: Apex Legends, ESL R1 and Street Fighter. All three events count towards the Esports World Cup Club Championship, a cross-game competition at the EWC where the world's best esports organisations will compete for a share of a $20 million team prize pool.

Great result, Guild Rainpro has won through in Street Fighter 6, Dreamhack Sweden to win a spot in the EWC Riyadh.

So Guild will be competing in SF6 EWC Riyadh.

Excellent result for Guild’s semi final Fortnite players.

Guild’s Chico, Charyy, Voltiax and Blacha all win a spot, securing their places with their duo’s to the Fortnite Grand Final.

Very good news, good progress is being made.

Excellent news a strong set of results by Redwood.

It’s good to see Guilds progress in Sim Racing.

Let hope more Esports tournaments are going to include Orgs within the prize pool like this one.

Rewarding players but most important rewarding Orgs within the prize pool, that will secure the future of Esports teams.

Guild joins 'ESL R1' Sim Racing Championship

Guild Esports PLC (LSE: GILD; OTCQB: GULDF), a global gaming-focused media business, announces that it has entered ESL R1, a sim racing championship.

ESL R1 offers significant prize money, with a $100,000 prize pool for drivers and $400,000 for teams. The tournament was created through a partnership between esports organiser and production company ESL and Rennsport, an upcoming sim racing game. It is confirmed to feature in the Esports World Cup (EWC) in August 2024.
