Hays travel have bought up Thomas Cook high street shops probably at a give away price but it does tell you that an element of the population still want face to face.Does this confirm there is still a market for Metro's model,i think it does.

about Metro bank is "Fee and other income increased 61% to £46.4 million in H1 2019 (H1 2018: £28.9 million) and 7% quarter on quarter, driven by continued customer account growth and the development of new value-added services" yet it's rated the top quality bank by it's customers, whatever they are doing in the branches they must be doing it right so interest rates are marginally less important when compared to competitor banks.
What would be nice now to maintain momentum before Q3 is some small snippet of how many additional customers have joined Metro after recent branch openings in the Midlands.
