You told Lloyds investors the SP would be in the 80's and beyond once we leave the EU and what better confirmation of that than Fridays news.
To put it another way if Lloyds confirmed a special dividend on Friday to be paid on the 31st Jan 2020 you wouldn't expect the SP to rise until the 31st Jan.
You're now clutching at straws for a Santa rally,don't you think your prediction on leaving one of the largest trading blocks in the world was suspect.
As for telling people things could have been worse you know that's a poor argument for lowering expectations, is there an ounce of truth in any of your posts?

EU free movement allowed 1.2m to leave and 3.4m to arrive a truly flexible arrangement which met our country's economic requirements, prehaps in years to come we will not need this workforce and it simply returns from where it came, which is the trend since 2017.

The result yesterday was confirmation we are leaving the EU on the 31st January 2020, are you now suggesting Lloyds is going to rise a further 20p(30%) on this news by this date.

Gateboy, all I can say is we've had the biggest Tory win for 30 yrs and Lloyds currently stands at 65p, that's reality.
When comparing the price to 2016 we still had PPI in full swing (£3.6bn all banks), no end date and a lower interest rate of .5%

Can't answer that one it was never on the cards but in a hung parliament probably in the low sixties.
Lloyds is the barometer of the UK economy and our direction hasn't changed and apart from "lets start Brexit" I cannot see Boris keeping any of his promises which could have been positive for the many.

With politics out of the way we now see the true value of Lloyds which is still short of referendum day some 3 1/2 years ago.

Ireland has done very well as an independent country within the EU so I would imagine Scotland could achieve a similar status freed from the shackles of the United Kingdom.

A hung parliament with a Labour majority requiring the cooperation of other parties will lead to higher spending but to believe they will achieve their ambitions in just one parliament when it took Thatcher with sizeable majorities three sessions to close the coal/steel industry and privatise water, gas, rail, electric ,BT are nuts.
Labours policy on Brexit has to take priority in the first year and if they do what they say then it's either leave with a customs union and no requirement for trade deal talks or remain all within 6 months,which would give them another £30bn to spend within the first year.
