Another point you can be a shareholder under a Labour Government,Lloyds had some of it's best years under one.

I've been thinking for 2 yrs now. Lloyds shareholder generally buy in for stability,regular income,a steady capital gain,it's a share that doesn't rock the boat.

So why on Earth would a Lloyds shareholder vote for leave and turn everything upside down!!

Truthfully not anti American at all.Actually very pro high dollar for me,however would like to see the whole world win so not in favour of the turmoil these tariffs have created.The US has done very nicely out of World trade with an American multi-national on every street corner.The problem with America is unsustainable consumption,living beyond their means and the problem can be solved within America.
Back to DIY i get so much more done on a falling market,pointless watching it really.

The like's of McDonalds and the other multi-nationals are much larger foreign earners.It will be like our dollar earners but in reverse.

As mick said China,Turkey,Iran,even Russia really answer to no one.Prehaps China needs to slow down a bit and they now have the perfect country to blame-America.

The pressure will rise from US exporters and US multi-nationals earning foreign currency.Dollar still rising on safe haven status and those tariffed goods(harley's) are even more expensive now while US tariffs have less impact.
With a rising dollar the rest of the world has time on its side.

Must add Chancer.The reduction of 86,000 EU workers does confirm how flexible this labour force is.They haven't signed on or the unemployment rate would have risen.
They have simply returned to their country of origin which has a closer standard of living to ours.If drawing from the rest of the world wage rates are less likely to rise.

80 dollars sounds possible but you also have to bear in mind the cost of getting it out the ground.They need to invest more to replace exsisting fields,has that happened yet?.
High oil will reduce consumption and will accelerate replacements,those Chinese are fast at adapting.

Oil will follow the same path as coal as replacements arrive.
Will be a different world by 2035.
