The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
SunDrum..... you are correct in your assessment of Dumbpunter, he does exactly the same on the Synairgen board, and has been caught out posting deliberate lies on there too. Filtering is the only answer.
In defence of Rapha.... I happen to know he is a LTH with a very considerable investment. I think he was more testing the water, and asking for people's opinions, rather than stating his opinion as FACT as some do on here. In this instance I think he was a bit 'off' on his conservative estimates... but no-one would be happier than him if he was!
Wonga, if you are referring to OTC, that's not a real auction market system. Only about 5000 SNG shares are traded there daily.... it's irrelevant.
SNG is listed on AIM, not NASDAQ. My point was, if it was listed on Nasdaq, I believe we would be at a much higher price.... Adagio being my example in my previous post.
Rapha... I agree with Mact4. I think you need to look at this in the context of being in the middle of a pandemic/endemic, that has had devastating financial losses, and, of course, terrible loss of life. You only need to look at Adagio, losing $3b in a day last week because they discovered it didn't work against Omicron... then a few days later gaining $1b because they thought it might again. It's crazy.
SNG is in two P3 trials, it would be at least double this price if listed in USA. Imo it is massively undervalued atm.
Booked a walk through PCR this morning for 9.30, in London, got there and there is a 3 hour queue.
If you're ill enough to book a PCR, then you're too ill to be standing outside on cold concrete for 3 hours. I went home and ordered the postal one.
HeleB.... My daughter has had bad asthma all her life, and caught covid in July, and now has it again. She had flu like symptoms the first time, and was in bed for a few days, but she was fine within 7. Lots of fresh fruit and veg, water, sleep.... she used her inhaler a bit more, but she was fine and described it as having a bad cold. They have youth on their side, and they do bounce back quite quickly... fingers crossed for you. Her boyfriend now has it for the fourth time... unbelievable.
NDN.... I'm going to back up BeContrarian and Matterhorn, who have been subtle, I am going to be less so .... you are coming across on this board as a 12 year old know it all.... but more annoying.
No-one has learnt from you, because they just can't listen to any more of it.
All the things I love about RM... modest, cautious, complete integrity, underpromising, the reasons I invested in him and the company 2 years ago. But the Americans just aren't familiar enough with the English term 'understated'.... it's a very British characteristic.... so I don't expect the average American to come rushing in to massively push up the SP after watching Richard's interview.... we'll have to wait until results are in for our meteoric rise.... and it will be.
Support has moved up to 204..... resistant levels 217. 221. 229. All taken from BARCHART Synairgen Cheat Sheet which my hero TornadoTony pointed us to a few months ago.... I took notes!
xviolet... I spoke to a cousin in LA a couple of days ago (also a CEO).... and I was quite taken aback by how relaxed he said everyone was about it, including him. He said no-one was paying much attention to it anymore, he was more concerned with making plans and starting to travel again.
Andy.... the real experts actually don't post here any more... they were pmjh, Ghia, sparkle, and many, many more... Matterhorn is still here thankfully, as is TornadoTony. We were all here 2 years ago, and some much longer... there was some proper detective stuff going on then, which benefited everyone here, and it was a great place to post.... and mostly people were polite, kind and helpful.
Be great to get it back to that... it's become quite harsh here, lots of over reactions from people not thinking first or appearing not to have any kind of filter.... not everyone is a de ramper, some are just asking questions, we were all ignorant once.....
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
When SSH said "Antibodies are made against other Interferons, not beta, but Omega and Alpha, which help to neutralise their effect, so this is the third reason why Interferon Beta is special". Does this mean that our competitors such as Betterlife, who are coming up from behind, are therefore using an inferior interferon (alpha mainly) that the coronavirus antibodies can work around. But they can't work around Interferon Beta?
For the biologists on the board!
Thanks
Algy7... that is absolutely accurate, and very well explained.
Astra also sadly pulled out BEFORE they knew that considerable efficacy was shown in the patients with a viral infection. But testing has moved on a whole lot since then... so this would no longer be an issue in future trials.
But Dumbpunter knows all this, we've covered it many times over the last few years.... he is deliberately misleading on this and other boards.
