Impossible to predict - will depend on:
- the type of contract (ie UK only etc)
- quantity per annum and if that can be increased further

As we have seen with NYCT, the price has drifted despite stellar sales - (surely due a re-rate soon)

Personally, don't bother, the RNS could drop at any time and you would miss it - surprised we have not seen some kind of official update yet following that interview.........

Expecting the usual 5-8% drop on open but instead we seem to be holding firm with a small rise - makes a nice change, hopefully indicating something is going on.............

I am hoping this is where the government realised they looked silly when they rolled out the previous tests and then couldn't do very many and got pillored in the press.

Hopefully pressure will also mount on the govt to provide details on the track and trace since they are not far away from 1st June.

Logically, if you were doing a track and trace you would want to know:
- who has it currently
- who has had it

I get the logic for the Roche test / NHS - and great sign.

I have not seen it - do we know the cost per test at all?

Surely shows how ODX will be positioned and the Abingdon tweets also back up that tracing (though it will prob be seperate to NHS)

Agreed - not sure if possible scientifically, but if you could combine the antibody and NYCT test into one (appreciate one is blood and other is saliva) then that would be a game changer ?

I just keep looking at NCYT - there SP keeps slipping yet they have positive confirmed info and the testing updates while not directly naming them, keep the company in the spotlight

ODX on the other hand has stayed roughly static for a few weeks (give or take) and in the last week, the drops on NYCT have daily, been greater than here - I take that as a positive tbh.

SP is dropping still, down 4.66%

Charts I saw suggested the end of the 'wedge' was tommorow - essentially, tmw the direction of the SP will be decided tmw, so probably number of traders holding off I guess?

Though if they were sensible, you could combine the two bits of info so you can say:
I have XX cases in London
Fred Bloggs has just got it - where has he been, what has he done
I have 20% of the population who have antibodies etc

The article in Daily Mail has comments - almost all of the 32 so far are negative about the price and saying govt should be administering these.

Bodes well for the RTC which will be considerably cheaper..........

Also expensive - I doubt a lot of people would pay £69 for a test and lets face it, if only say 25% of the population have had it, your pronably going to be negative.......

These £69 tests are odd- Abbott advise that there tests should be done only with drawn blood, not finger prick test yet Superdrug and someone else is selling them.

If you look at the picture that Abingdon tweeted a few mins ago, it had a QR code at the bottom of it so assume it does it that way......

Agreed - but an app linked to a home testing kit wit QR's etc.......

Plenty of scope for wider testing if you can also get the covid test as well linked into the app.....

exactly - this is my hunch - make the RTC the hub of all things COVID so its a joined up attack - I think a lot of people suspicious of the APP - I would imagine you could encorage more with adding the testing element of the home test results.

Not overly surprised - suggestion of September was always unlikely.

Even the App they were trialling in Isle of Wight will be delayed roll out.

Really is a huge opportunity to do a co-ordinated roll out by the government of testing and covid monitoring but that would seem too much like a good idea!

Agreed, I think the delay in any update has been to do with a govt pulling together a strategy.

Personally, I think the message of potentially there being a vaccine by September is politically naive and realisitically, unlikely.

The longer term will see a combination of NCYT and ODX. Roche has its niche, but not sizable but also it is a swiss firm - we are competing to buy against lots of other countries - unlikely we would be able to get a decent number needed for the UK population.

Don't do it - its not guaranteed - lots of things can happen you would not expect - I have gone in heavy before on shares that were 'dead certs' and ended up losing thousands..............
