I personally believe that the fear of the downgrade has been massively overplayed and with money in the bank, valuable assets and stable production the prospects for a positive response should be favourable. However I cannot understand significant shorting at 5p and unless they close by Friday I guess they may know something I do not. Also the complexity of the water cut issue is lost on most but suffice to say if the longevity of the Production is significantly curtailed then it could be nasty

The Mafia would raise an eyebrow at some of their tactics. In the end they control the book and can get away with pretty much anything. They hide the Buy and Sell position and engineer wild swings for no apparent reason other than manipulating the position to maximise their gains.

I suspect those naughty mms saw some stop losses in the low 9s and dropped the price for some easy pickings. They will go in the keep net ready for the next move up.

Nice to Michu- I see this one the same way as you do. I am not in yet but think think you will see 5 to 7p at least if you set a 2 to 3 year timescale. Tranfigura don't make many bad investments

Ian I have shared your moments of despair and loss of faith but still have hope and tenuous belief . I have been very tempted to get out at times but I personally have a terrible record of jumping out before a rally. I just wish I was in a position to put in a drawer and come back in 3 years. The value will come out in the end but is it a good place for hour hard earned in the short to medium term.? You have made your decision and I hope 8.5p will get you out without a loss.

Michu you are not given to expressing views like that without good cause. I agree with you and think SAVE is potentially an outstanding g long term hold. My problem is I threw the dice in the upper teens and low twenties and made a big loss on the way down. I have bought back in but fear another market crash as I posted the other week. If you can buy now and afford to wait I think you will do very well with SAVE. It's a good bb here if you want to see the worst of humanity visit Hurricane

I am hoping that the sells and retrace today are mainly traders exiting and the mms making the most they can out of the situation as is normal. I am hoping we will see a steady climb back up from here.
