Hi James, I note the recent news coming out of Bamako, banning bikes above 125cc putting bounty’s on heads I think it’s $3 million for the jnim chief alon, sure he’ll get dobbed in soon enough, that could feed a village for a long time…..
Also seen the surrounding countries looking to shore up Mali lots of positive wheels in motion, these hits on tankers aren’t tankers but busses and trucks mostly civilian targets, but gets in the papers anyway, no one wants sharia law in Mali other than jnim who as you say are gradually getting there noses bloodied week on week, I read they took out around 300 in a few days last week, jnim numbers correct me if I’m wrong stand around 5000 maybe 4500 now and falling, whilst Malian forces in excess of 25000 and growing weekly after new recruits finish training camps
With the new sites, and taking over the Forrest’s and banning large bikes, they will push jnim more into the open where they are exposed to far superior weaponary
