I would say misleading investors with 'nothing is wrong' is more morally reprehensible.

The market does always seem to bounce back, how long it takes is anyone's guess though.

I know most people are holding at a loss Schlemiel but i don't think it is helpful with the constant 'nothing is wrong' mindset. It is misleading.

Red's constant thinking that this global recession will have no bearing on SEE is ridiculous and smacks of real novice investing along with an astoundedly naive grasp of simple economics.

Such a view i will always counter with a large dose of reality.

Just for one moment, ignore my 'spreadsheet' and turn on the news. We are heading for short term armageddon if you hadn't noticed.

By all means buy shares if you want but do be prepared to hold them at a loss for some time before they come good.

If you constantly ignore the market, PM with his longer sales lead times, severe car/aviation problems etc etc you will get hit hard!

Meanwhile, US airlines are facing the possibility of extinction according to some reporters.

I would imagine similar pressure will start to mount on car manufacturers as well.

What impact this may have on SEE is anyone's guess. Like PM and some here have said it is likely to move the timing on SEE's targets somewhat.

Wild swings seen on the Aussie ASX index, from -10% start to finish + 4%.

Seems no one has any idea or confidence how this will play out at the moment.

In this current climate i would be more inclined to listen to posters like Baxter than the blinkered forever optimistic posts.

Oh yes, I forgot about the many dilutions before. I finally bit the bullet and sold these when they were 11 or 12 having bought much much higher than that.

Didn't think it would sink this low although with all that has happened i'm not at all surprised.
