Back in March 2025 they began exploring prototype production runs. Presumably they yielded good results.

In fact their 56m turnover last year was for rendering of services, sales were zero. Not bad for a company that makes microled display chips

Ceo has consistently said end of year, it is us who have applied their timetable literally (i'm very guilty of that too), Perhaps ceo promised the new jda delivery as evidence of demand to buyers too, maybe there is one in particular they are waiting to see.

Should mean a steady flow of JDA announcements over the next few months, an update on LG's response and maybe a value on the claim, FY in november. Dr P sticking around until February probably means something too.

That's fair, i've only done 18 months in this share. 29th is when LG come back with at least 3 reasons why the claim should be thrown out, late sept i guess could be when the judge sets a date in 2026 (probably) for the trial. Think there is a good chance as Samsung caved at the 1st hurdle as you say (ok, inflammatory thing to say in this forum) that LG will when facing validated patents, yes we don't know damages range or whether a settlement would extend beyond initial claim to supply of lcd to apple, but they have decided it is worth the cost and risk.

Chair and ceo are paid to be confident yes, but they really don't have rubbish track records, so when both describe nano as an unpolished gem i think they do see value. And since dimitri used the phrase, i'm confident we will see some leveraging of the IP in terms of sale price.

Too bleak for me. LG are most likely to settle on the court date, it's what happens. I'm optimistic for a surprise to the upside on the sale.

Imo LG settlement/licensing money addressed funding need 2027 should sale not happen. But it also lets other players in qds know nano will defend use even in areas it is not focussed. What a wide range of views.

Near term focus is the litigation against LG. A buyers perspective would be to wait for the outcome of that process. I can't see a buyer making a move before that's settled. LG did win a extension which may have thrown a spanner in the works regarding Nanoco objectives and timings.

Nano/cdx asked for IOI after announcing the LG claim. There is probably only a very slim chance you are correct in this line of conjecture. LG didn't win anything, they are preparing their reply.

Interesting range of views bear/bull - hopefully should know the score soon enough.

Except they are not skint and don't have to accept an offer, that is sort of a position of strength.

UBiQd are on the organising board for this seminar and of course, if you are bullish, you can perhaps wonder (again) if nano had any involvement in resurrecting the meta/plessey AR by adding qds to their phosphor array in order to get the 'world's brightest red'.

I do wonder about UbiQD and their synthesis method and whether Nano have put the feelers out, they're not using cadmium...

Agree (so does AI lol) might still be in cdx window for final bids or in final negotiations - announcement on sale within next 6 weeks.

I'm going with dimitri and jalal being good at this m & a game and what looks vague and casual to us as being part of the plan. If they have more than one bidder they will keep them all in the game as long as possible, get some competitive tension, multiple bidders doing due diligence, especially if they are strategic/trade rather than pe as they will pay a premium and are more likely to parent.

Expect to receive initial proposals from potential bidders during the summer. The Board will provide an update as appropriate in due course.

As i said, can't assume they have picked a preferred bidder yet - assuming any/more than 1

I'm talking friends and families not institutions.

The M & A timetable for Q2 looks unrealistic if there was more than one bidder.

Surprisingly, might also mean that insiders do not yet know the bid range - hence current share price

Interesting to me that rather than have cdx beat out a highest bidder by end of q2, nano expects to put itself out for site visits and schmoozing in Q3 with 'finalists'. Makes the getting to the lead bid quite protracted, then that presumably leads to a letter of intent with buyers bid subject to due diligence signed off by Nano. Then expecting due to diligence to be completed in Q3. It's looks a lot to get through. Obviously i don't mind it being protracted if it leads to a higher bid.
