placing?....they'll have go through $18m first.....by then the sP will not be where it is today.
Sound Energy confirms that it has previously made indicative proposals to Angus regarding a potential all-share combination (the "Potential Combination"). The board of directors of Angus (the "Angus Board") unequivocally rejected the indicative proposals.
Definition of 'Unequivocally,',,,'leaves no doubt'.

Angus Energy Plc
This looks like a dead horse...SOU can't afford this.
("Angus Energy", "Angus" or the "Company")
Saltfleetby Planning Permission
Angus Energy plc (AIM: ANGS) is pleased to announce that Lincolnshire County Council has granted permission for its application to reconfigure the layout of the Saltfleetby B Site originally envisaged and permitted by the extant planning permission N/158/00804/20 which was announced by RNS on 12 June 2020 and thereby completing the local authority permissions required for Saltfleetby to achieve first gas.
'Why hasn't it been put to bed yet...'
It's the target that ALL new bidders must surpass. ANGS will keep SOU on a string until the final outcome. The final valuation given by a bidder can only benefit ANGS with any future fundraising. As stated by all concerned...'there's no guarantee that the deal will go through'
Angs shareholders will also have to vote...and the consensus is that they'll throw it out.

As you say...by keeping SOU in tow...gives the other potential buyers....a target to emulate or surpass.....sounds logical.
'It's a seemingly pointless extension as far as anything to do with SOU and any possible actual bid is concerned IMV.'
If this is pointless..why are ANGS still in negotiations, continuing with the sale offer...why not just pull the plug?

I can only imaging that GL has contacts that are able to expand this company ...should he decide to go down this path?

'...mickey mouse outfits with not a pot to pi** in between all of them put together..."
Strange how ANGS comes to mind....M/C £9.2m...SOU. £29M
I appreciate the GL is a busy lad...with a lot on his plate.
'Graham Lyon asked about ATOG revenues. Answer was that currently the focus over there is paying down debt but we haven’t totally ruled out any additional surplus return this year. It was good to see GL there as he’s a busy Exec Chair of Sound Energy, but still clearly has an interest in Sirius.' (Petroleum).
We all know how 'wonderful' this company is.......tell us something we don't know?.
If answers can only be given to questions that are already in the public domain.....what's the point of the Q@A session?
I'm not registered but who like to know if....
'...the Notice to Proceed to Italfluid and drawing down initial funding from the Afriquia Gaz loan in order to proceed with execution of the Phase 1 development."
...has been signed?

Maybe GL is punting on a sustained global upturn in gas prices?
