'....and like most cannot understand why we have good news and the share price drop....'
Sometimes it's because a large order has been placed...and needs to be filled.
Surely shareholders would be interested in the company's current position with respect to the civil works and future planned events, these are not price sensitive items yet would be more than welcomed by investors, knowing that the two year production target gets shorter by the day.
If the Civils are ahead of programme....then It'll not be a ' complete waste of time'...
News on the way?

IF the tax liability is proven...then sure it can be paid replacing the 'tax holiday'?
Nothing wrong with the rns....they could have waited until the tax situation was resolved...but no..it doesn't seem to worry them...onwards and upwards.
The gas storage seems of little value...

Renewables are nothing to be sneezed at.....by 2030 it's hoped they'll become the largest part of Morocco's energy mix.

I doubt access to money is a problem..the problem will be how much will the money cost.

I can't see what all the fuss is about...it seems straight forward enough. SOU paid $1 to secure the acquisition....which is to be settled and eventually paid for via the PSD (Profit Sharing Deed)on profits from SOU's production that will already have been subjected to taxation. From where I'm sitting, it looks as if the 8% and 11%, as and when it materialises,....needs to be taxed being the true and actual part of the sale process.
rns extract.
'In consideration for the Acquisition, the Group shall make an initial payment of US$1 (one US dollar) to the Seller in cash
on completion and may make future payments to the Seller pursuant to a Profit Sharing Deed ("PSD").
Under the principal terms of the PSD, the Group will pay to the Seller an amount equivalent to between 8% and 11% of total net profits (after costs, taxes and other applicable deductions)'

March 2020 CHAR were 1.40p....currently trading at 22.29p....CENKOS have given them a Target of 51p.......(and CHAR have the same partner as SOU have)
The 50% increase was estimated..
I see that CHAR have re-assest their gas volumes.....by 50%

placing?....they'll have go through $18m first.....by then the sP will not be where it is today.
Sound Energy confirms that it has previously made indicative proposals to Angus regarding a potential all-share combination (the "Potential Combination"). The board of directors of Angus (the "Angus Board") unequivocally rejected the indicative proposals.
