So basically cgp are trying to hijack the solg ship on the last stretch lol

because time and money is no object for them but only for the small fry(solg, cgp and ncm trying to pretend) at the bottom.
As long as it progresses they are still the likely aquirer and if next year they offer us 4b Instead of 2.5b or whatever the acquisition will rid them of the cgp headache all the leg work done and the funds will be spread over the next 50 years.
I have nothing to back this up but I'm just pointing out this cpuld still go a number of ways and the only thing changed here is that a few people on here are smelling a bit of weakness because the sp dropped a penny.
Ask yourself why not bid 20p(100%) back in march if it was that simple and everyone would be happy.

and lets just say bhp back solg until dfs and we get funding to build a mine and next year we take out cgp for nothing and bhp give us an offer once all the work has been done but only dealing with solg.

earthling, whilst I understand your and respect your wishes for this to be sold you cannot compare the last 7 years to the next.
We initially had 1 drill going 1800metres per hole in some cases.
Another prospect could be only 400 or 500m deep with 3 pr 4 drills over a smaller plot so could essentially be proven up within a couple years.
Its all guess work but to say it will take 7 years without any information available is a bit much to be honest.

Covgaz, it strikes me as very strange almost negative someone who is invested in solg who is happy to sell at 55p and thinks £1 or £1+ is dreamland or not achievable.
Each to there own but If I was looking for 55p I wouldn't be talking down £1 bids possibly happening.
What makes you think we can get to 55p and not anything higher?
