We can throw whatever figures come to mind but it means absolutely nothing without proving they can flow the deeps it's that simple and while the license will give this a push in the right direction the market wants to see that Caspian can tap into the huge potential they have found on the deeps.
Yes the shallows have great potential and flow but they know that and they also know to get just one deep flowing would blow our production figures sky high compared to the shallows . A5 alone split at 80/20 and allowing for 3 weeks maintenance will give around 47 million profit or there abouts.
Always maintained that this has been slowed right down to this point as A5 could without doubt have been done alot quicker as another few months and it will have been 2 years since the first test went wrong yet just come out with another sidetrack which will take only 2 months to complete hmmm.
Why would a company not concentrate in getting one deep flowing back then which would have brought in 10s of millions of pounds in revenue. Just my opinion but Caspian knew exactly what they have got here a long time ago .
I'm a betting man and I said about 801 being roughly the same depth in intervals as the other deeps and I believe they are linked. We will soon find out one way or another. The potential here is nothing short of staggering and I sit back with a huge smile on my face just watching it unfold with some tickets in my pocket to cash in down the road.

A5 was 3800 bopd not 3500 and is roughly the same all around us , Tengiz down the road on the deeper wells can be up to around 8000 bopd .Can't remember how many wells they have working but it's over 100 I think.
If we hit oil at that depth you could be looking at a lot more than 3800 bopd . I'm more than happy with what we have found on A8 anything below what we have is a huge bonus. As coffee has quite rightly said

58km possible of oil is mind boggling then add on if we find another interval at around 5200mtrs or anything between. Impossible to say what we have at this stage as it just keeps getting bigger but the potential here is of the charts.

To me the market just wants one thing before they let this go before anything else GET A DEEP FLOWING as they know the rest will follow right behind. Potential multi billion dollar company , shareprice 11.5p so grab some or sell some makes no odds to me as I'm gambling they can pull this off to become a huge oil company or sell to a big player and I'm betting a lot here will do the same with the odd bit of profit taking along the way. Free float will just get smaller the more this becomes successful.

Cheers I see what your saying. So if they find more oil below and is better or not as good they can take their pick of which one to extract first. .
Do you believe either one of the existing A wells will be drilled deeper if the find more oil at around 5200 at A8. Could an A5 sidetrack go to that depth and like you said case just beyond the interval already found .

So going to case at 4500m but think another oil bearing interval starts at that depth again . So is it oil bearing up to that point or 40 mtrs between them . 110 mtrs first interval or 140.
Take as long as they want with this well if we keep finding more oil . Amazing find up to this point.

Coming up to 100mtrs interval on A8 with poss a lot more to come for this interval before we move on.
A6 could be just a week or 2 away from a test fingers crossed . I'm over the moon with this news so let them drop the bugger all they want as we pick up cheap shares. These next few months is going to be a roller coaster ride that's for sure and I'm going to make sure in enjoy it .

Stopped near the docks a couple of years ago for 3 nights of fun in Liverpool, very friendly people great night out and a city that's well worth a visit.
