How deep do you need to go when the government and banks that run the country was caught . How many investors here have complained to the relevant authorities about companies they think are corrupt. Hundreds of not thousands of the years and it will continue.

The point I'm making is it's in the heart of own government and banks that affected millions of people. That I'm afraid is corruption at the very highest level .

Ofcom wanted to split openreach from BT and Sharon White went for the pensions . Very very suspicious that a few months later BT start sorting them out . If I was BT I'd tell ofcom to get stuff.... Who else will put in the network .

A very simple question is why would a company pay billions of pounds to install a network fit for the future and get Penny's back in return. Not a company on the planet would do that even if BT merged with another big company. This is a private company that was brought from the state over 30 years ago and we own it lock stock and barrel,we have put in billions of pounds into it while the government sold because they couldn't. Hundreds of billions of pounds in fact and yet this p.ss poor government with ofcom just keep on attacking it left right and centre. As for corruption in the UK well you need to get real it is absolutely everywhere. Just one example and that is are own government was caught with there pants down claiming expenses. Banks caught fixing rates. I could go on and on.

So the price of oil is up so if you work it out I think it's around $70 million more on top of 363 million profits by end of 2019. Yum yum. Come on get them deeps pumping Caspian.

If you believe Some on here . Don't invest for a divi and BT going under has anybody got anything else to add to that cr.p. We need more engineering grades and far less management and backroom staff and have needed them for a few years and the market knows that . That's why BT have been employing thousands over the last few years and we still can't keep up with demand across the company and that's a fact. Read the news how BT have put in place how they are going to tackle the deficit with 4.1billion being wiped off alone over a 2/3 period plus cpi plus changes to the pensions and so on. Ups and downs in most multi national companies and BT is no different. As for the private investors most don't go shouting about what strategy they deploy or what holdings or dividends they have as they are here to make money through whatever means possible. You are here to make money and f all else.

The company also agreed a 13-year plan to reduce its pension deficit, which stands at �11.3bn, including payments of �2.1bn over three years and a further �2bn to be raised from a bond issue. As for interest rates we all know at some Point this year or beginning of next they will rise but the point is they will rise . Could the share price go under 2 and yes of course it can but a lot of people waiting in the wings at that point . Remind me of profit after everything paid again. We knocked the company years ago for not moving and slimming down and now and they do we not going them again. Sorry but Often has a lot to answer for .

Who else can spend absolutely billions of pounds on a network only to give it away on the cheap, and say BT fell by the wayside who else would do it knowing they have to give it way on the cheap . Talk talk virgin sky well I think not and in fact they wouldn't be allowed to under competition rules so who's going to take that massive risk , so if anyone here knows who else could fire away. Ofcom have as a lot here have said got it so so wrong .

So basically like I said it's not about this moment in time is it. For God sake we have seen BT down to if memory serves me right 79p or there abouts and 5/6 years later oh look over 600 percent higher. I have invested in BT for around 25 years and same old patterns just like a wave and I'm waiting to jump back in as close to the bottom as possible then let it ride as I've done countless times. And I don't mind waiting for that long on a big investment and look I'll pick up many thousands in a divi while I wait . I wonder who's doing the same as we speak .

Some real scaremongering going on here and like I said it's not about this moment in time it's about positioning yourself for the future. And do people think BT is going bust with over 2and a half billion profit . People really need to stop talking crap.

Come on we all knew this would happen at some point as technology has moved forward at a very fast pace with a lot of people put onto so called projects as jobs in their field had been superseded.. Am I right in saying that 800 million set aside for redundancies and at an average payoff of �61500. Short term pain for sure but it's not about this moment in time it's about moving forward and securing the future for this company. Many many great people that have pushed this great company forward will be leaving us which I'm sad about .

Very hard to say what upside is as we know f... all about what's been going on at the deep wells but if they have 2 flowing you have to say more than 15p but downside If another bit of crap news and I would say less than 9. Just hoping some news this week.

But the asset is worth roughly 10 billion over the time frame without anything else added after 2019 . Maintaining that level for 20 years alone is worth 7.26 billion pounds profit . Surely would that push casp into the ftse 250.. of course they have to get to that level and looking at the problems casp have had with the deeps it won't be easy but if they can crack the deeps with these 3 wells then it's absolutely game on. Just my opinion.
