I suspect the UT could be MMs getting their stock up at the best prices.

Recycle production will be obviously very limited to start with. The Northern Ireland recycling plants is about 10 tpa at present. They are the UKs first magnet producer btw

The circular supply would require feeding for decades to cone.

I'll take a 50 year experienced magnet making specialist and one of the biggest car manufacturers in the world over a University study and a Tier three car maker.

More importantly, so will other car manufacturers when they look for suppliers.

If you think ignoring reality is a great plan, go for it.

Recycling and optimisation will of course occur.

But one of the advantages of being a very low cost supplier is that RBW can compete.

MMs balance their books at end of day, so you would think it would come out at the final auction, but maybe they are in on it . MMs can and do, accidentally trade against each other and them selves in a very volatile market
