wow! such a massive number of shares you lot hold! mine is minuscule compared to yours! So what do you guys think should be the acceptable take over offer? also did you guys attend AGM today? anything mentioned about commercialization?

Iclaprim was well tolerated in the two Phase 3 studies compared to vancomycin. In most patients, adverse events were mild to moderate, with severe adverse events reported in less than 5% of all patients in the pooled data set. The most frequent adverse reactions in both iclaprim and vancomycin-treated patients were headache and nausea. No deaths occurred among patients treated with iclaprim, while three deaths occurred in the vancomycin group. Acute kidney injury or elevated serum creatinine was reported in seven patients treated with vancomycin, which is known to be nephrotoxic. In contrast, none of the patients treated with iclaprim experienced acute kidney injury or elevated serum creatinine. Clearly Iclaprim performed better than SoC(vancomycin). How many drugs recently have been successful and performed better than SoC? How many had 2 successful P3 trials? Once FDA approves the drug, Motif is going to make millions and SP is going to be several times more than current price unless Pfizer makes an offer and steals it for a cheaper price! Current MCap is just under 100M so any offer should be atleast 500M ? SP then would be £1.68 ?

After AGM and before FDA acceptance of the application, I hope we see some more good positive news other than the news about their participation in conferences! Hope in the AGM they give some insight on their commercialisation plans and that could be a catalyst for SP to go up. Having presence in US is really an advantage as we will be in radar of big pharmas in US too. The delay with submission was a setback and many were sitting on fence watching MTFB. many includes IIs, big pharmas for take over and PIs. Now that NDA is submitted, spotlight is back on MTFB. Hope this week ends with SP near 34.

SP was near 40 before the RNS about the delay in NDA submission. The delay caused many to leave so the SP drifted down. Now that NDA is submitted, we should see some rise in SP. Agreed it is bit disappointing that SP has gone down after a good RNS on NDA but what goes down will bounce up soon. Many times we have seen SP going down even with a good RNS with many companies so same here. Nothing to worry about. In a month or so, we may get another RNS about FDA accepting the application. BOD is still determined for commercialization of the product in Q2 2019, which is not far. We just need to see whether MTFB want to go on their own to the market to sell the product or they will partner with someone. So more news will start coming now so best to get in now at these cheap prices before this flies off!

Thanks all for the links and advice on dividends. Till now I have not been after dividends but thinking of looking for companies with fat dividend. Just looking to diversify... A side note, I was trying to sign up for ITV Hub to watch some missed shows and I see that ITV are charging £3 per month as a subscription charge with only 2 weeks of free trial! BBC iPlayer is free though!

TomE, I guess you are in and out of various FTSE 100 stocks based on the dividend payments? I'm wondering if you have made a list for the dividend dates of FTSE 100 companies to get in before dividend date and out after dividend is paid? It would be helpful if you or anyone can share the list that you may have prepared for dividends! Thanks. Btw, good to see ITV rise and hitting 175. Trend is upwards and with WC in play so I believe we could see 185 soon in couple of months! I have been stupidly watching since 144 but did not get in as I was stuck in bloody oil stocks and by the time I had funds, ITV was up already to 165 but now am in so hope the SP rise continues.... Avrohom, few weeks back, you were questioning why I think trend is upwards and you were expecting it to go below 200p! Good that you bought at 204 and now you are in profit! No one can predict the SP but short term we can predict the SP direction so we can safely say that SP will not go below 200p until we hear any bad news on debt, pension etc. Just a day ago I guess credit rating was cut down and today it is up!!! tomorrow is friday so some profit takers may jump in and I guess you would want to sell it as well if this dips tomorrow?

hopefully sell on news brigade have left by end of today! Also overall pharma sector at the moment is not very encouraging with very few companies like MTFB are successful with 2 P3 trials. 2 successful P3 trials and NDA submission are huge things when you compare to many other pharma's that had P2 and P3 failed trails! We may see a broker re-rate in coming days to lift the SP.

Sorry for those who are sitting on losses. Seems like many pharmas have had P2 and P3 trail failures but there is one to look at - MTFB, this one has 2 successful P3 trails!!! Today MTFB released RNS about NDA submission, which is a huge news comparing how other pharmas have performed recently! To me, MTFB seem to be more safe and better bet than the other pharma's out there. With 2 successful P3 trails and NDA submission, MTFB can re-rate soon if there is a take over offer before the approval. ATB

my entry price is 36p and today avg it down with RNS as I didn't want to top up without submission RNS. This will now re-rate and I think PIs will be driving the SP up unless we see some big TR-1 with increased holdings or new holdings as now NDA is submitted.

lack of volume due to which it is not rising. once the news spreads, this will hopefully rise to 40s. Many still may not be aware of the news. let us see if herd arrives by afternoon. there are some good chunky buys in the morning. ATB.

Pls let us stop judging ppl and let everyone write whatever they like to share. I like SK posts but too many times doing brrrrr is sometimes annoying :-) but it makes me laugh and brings smile on my face even though PMO SP is down! So pls don't judge others. When oil crossed $80 that is when countries and politicians panicked thinking that it might rise further up to $100 if the cuts are prolonged. But everyone seem to be happy with oil at $75 so OPEC and Non-OPEC will ensure that oil stays between $75 - $80 and doesn't go higher than $80 and lower than $70. OPEC nor Shale companies do not want 60s and no oil company either wants 60s so $75 oil is here to stay!!! $75 is good for PMO and Jeffries target of 180p can be easily achieved, only question is by what date?

Anyone calling $60 oil is simply deramping without any reasoning...shooting in the dark or whatever...$75 oil is to stay for this year...OPEC on 22nd may agree for increasing the supply but they are not foolish to let oil go back to 60s...they will either be non-compliant with the 22nd agreement to increase the supply or may just compensate a bit of the deficit from Iran and Venezuela. Before 22nd June someone from OPEC may say that investment in drilling is not worth if oil goes below $80 !!! Am happy to hold and top up on dips. When oil went down to $74, PMO stayed strong at 110s and that is a bullish indicator for me to hold for long! If you want to make money then you have to be in PMO!!! :-) ATB

Faultsman, thanks for sharing the link. I was lazy last night to look for the link related to dividend. It is just my opinion that it may not go under �2. The trend seem to be upwards and with recent dip of FTSE 100 from the peak, the price stayed above �2. With the WorldCup on, the revenue from advertising may help. Every little helps. IIs will load up soon for the dividend. I think still a bigger catalyst is needed if SP has to move to �2.50 in next 6 months.

can anyone advise if the dividend has been announced for this year? I see that the final dividend for last year as 10.55p. Is it going to be almost similar or reduced due to the recent trading update? If the dividend is going to be at the same time as last year then we may see rise in SP just before the ex-dividend date(Aug ???). Have not invested in BT yet but I think bottom has been reached in my opinion and cannot go under �2 from here so thinking to jump in now before it flies off! Give it 6 months, this could go to close to 2.50.

hydraides, my sympathies for you mate. I know how it feels like. I believe in the past you would have got burnt with PMO when it went down from 98p to 65p couple of times. MrD, you, me and many others had a terrible days with PMO so you wouldn't believe when it rises and you would think that like in old days, it could drop down but things have changed mate. You should have got in when it went down on results days and you could have avg down if you thought it would have gone to 90s or atleast when it sprung back to 110 by close on results day, you could have bought it. It is all learning mate. As you are still obsessed with PMO and unable to leave this board and frustration seeing the rising SP so better to get in and have a game plan to avg down if this dips. From here the worst it could drop is 110p and you can avg down if it really really goes to 110p. We are soon going to hit 150p too so better to get in. You may have already been in PMO but if not then you can still jump in now. Just my 2 cents! ATB GLA

Am amazed to see here ppl having such large holdings and mine are peanuts compared to sone of you here and am wasting so much time checking the share for such a small amount ! Of course it is my hard earned money in ISA that am invested here and a drop off SP causing few hundred pounds loss worries me a lot sometimes and that is how I bailed out at 95p around having bought at 70p and now again bought at 109p. I'm still 20yrs away for retirement at 58 but I will take inspiration from you guys and will try to top up using my pension amount that is accumulating slowly and I believe PMO SP will be 1.50 atleast by end of summer. It could very well be more than that if OPEC maintain the cuts. tomorrow may be a small dip but surely everyone will use the opportunity to top up now that PMO is being talked about in various articles so more herd will arrive here. Like someone said more tree shakes on the way for IIs to buy in cheap so use any dips as opportunity to top UP, IMO. GLA
