don't understand why many are selling and SP dropped from 180p to where we are now. I thought price will go up closer to the update. I feel that results would be positive so we would see some rise tomorrow but am planning to sell it off tomorrow as I think the rise will not sustain

I wonder why BPC did not submit application to get approval from EA few years back ? It would have been lot smoother now in negotiations with the major had they had that approval already. I'm sitting on the fence here and not in yet after I had burnt my fingers previously in situations like this. XEL is one example, it had a very large asset but due to low oil prices CEO could not find a partner but now oil prices are a boon to oil producers and BPC managed to find a partner although in negotiations now but hope the major will get onboard and not quit. does anyone think SP can still go down? It bounced from 308 quite a few times in last couple of weeks...

Not sure if these sellers are on this BB. Would like to know the reason why they sold ? It could be a buy too but as SP went down a biy so am thinking those are sells

When this goes to commercialisation, what sort of revenue are we looking at? I think MTFB wants to partner with a major for manufacturing and commercialisation? If so then what would be the commercial costs and is there any need for issue of equity to raise money if they are going to partner with someone else for manufacturing and commercialisation?

why is ITV not attractive? Some one said earlier that SKY is attractive because of its other businesses other than TV.
Also is the debt too much of worry? Other than advertising revenue, what are the other areas that ITV are making money?

Chevron did some drilling in the past...way back in 1980s and many other majors had interest too in the past but it seems the price of oil was not favourable for majors in the past so none had applied for license to drill. BPC acquired the license and this is their last best effort to get some deal for the millions they have invested so far. Accordingly they need to decide whether to renew the license and also govt need to decide whether they can allow any drilling considering the opposition from environment concerned communities. There seem to be some 16,000 people who have signed a petition to oppose oil drilling so the major must be already aware of this. It is going to be tough for government to approve oil drilling but it all depends on how much confirmed oil is available based on the assessment by the major. If it is billions of barrel oil as estimated then probably government would definitely not want to lose the opportunity to make money from oil. They can silence the environment activists easily so the environment approval application that BPC submitted is also on hold until the technical assessment by the major is complete. Government needs just 200m barrels of oil for improving the financial situation and the mean estimate by UGCS and by Moyes is 1.6billion! Government holds all the cards!

Hope they find huge quantity of oil that is good for commercials and other thing is Govt hopefully agrees for exploration considering the tourism. The new govt seems to be more interested in creating the jobs and improve economy that means tourism is Not enough for the current economy. So if significant oil is found as expected then deal is surely on the cards.

has not gone up as much as we liked may be because oil traders are worried that there would be more pumping in coming days to increase the supply but by the time OPEC agree to supply more we will see huge draws every week from now?
With such a huge draw, would there be build next week? I don't think so.

Oil will soon start going up above $80 and nothing can keep oil low as the demand also increases and each week huge draws would make OPEC to give up pumping at some time and would not bother pumping more as they will realize that they cannot pump more and everyone will just have to watch oil fly to $100 and then $250! :-)

Hope the above really happens and we will $100 soon! Ofcourse it would pinch me when I fill my car seeing the price of the fuel but at the same time would be happy to see my PMO shares in profit! :-) 140p by end of tomorrow? :-)

If tonight figures shows buildup then I think POO will go down a bit to $77 but I guess PMO SP will stay above 130p? If tomorrow figures also show build up then guys here would want to take profit or hang in for updates? I personally thinking of topping up if this goes down to 125p again and thinking of moving my other holdings here. Not worried about short term movement as I feel this will reach 180p by year end or much earlier. Good to see PMO now having 1B market cap. Well done to all the long term holders! once we get the NDA acceptance from FDA, this will lift off so until then be patient and not look at the price. I have set a notification for RNS from MTFB so will check the price when there is news until then not looking at MTFB..frustrates me seeing the SP so better not check the price and BB for sometime! GLA

could the drop also be related to buyback that GLEN is doing? keeping the price low intentionally until their purchase of £1B is done?

ask is 5.69p now! bloody hell I topped up in the morning today at 6.3p but it is confirmed that the price movement due to the information leaked about the potential transaction isn't it? Am not selling any of mine as I think this will now range bound between 5.5 to 6p until we hear the next RNS to confirm Yes/No for the deal with the oil major. Hope the next news comes soon.

I still feel that the major company could have done their assessment without paying a single penny to BPC.
BPC are confident of their asset so they pushed the major company to pay every quarter for exclusivity. Not many companies would agree for a deal like this unless they believe that there is huge oil?

They have appointed Macquaire bank as the brokers and soon they are going to issue a target price and it will be interesting to see what their target price would be! They already have Shore Captial as their brokers and still appointed Macquaire bank too.

Shore capital target of 6p could be smashed easily before the news as the momentum has picked up since last couple of days. Someone definitely knows that good news is coming. With good news this will fly easily to 30p. Bloody cheap right now!
