Drop yesterday was a joke but the shorts need to protect themselves.
Saying that, majority of shorts are reducing as expected. Can’t see PFC as a sensible short with the latest contract securing the companies future.
Anymore contracts get announced and the shorts will be in serious trouble.

New CEO starts on Monday, no idea how long his welcome statement will take, possibly not until results day but the shorters have pulled our pants down here, they’ve taken advantage and played it superbly, however, a solid opening statement from the new CEO will turn this on its head and they are getting perilously close to that danger.
Feel for those that panicked and sold.

I feel your pain sir.
I’m in a very similar boat, 158,000 shares in 2 accounts. 1 average is 111p 100,000 shares the other 58000 shares average 81p. I’ve purchased another £4K 10minutes ago.
I’m putting the radio silence down to the law, results due in less than 1 month, which also doesn’t allow the directors to buy anymore shares.
This has been a tough ride since November
I point blank refuse to sell this at a loss.
Still have faith in the long term turn around due to growth predictions in the industry.

Whilst I agree with you, the new CEO takes his seat at the table on April 1st, results delayed, possibly to allow the new guy to settle in and get a feel for the business. It’s also possible that they delayed results as they expect a contract to land prior and give the new CEO some positive momentum from the off.
The industry is on the verge of a growth spurt, it clearly takes time for large contracts to be awarded.
This has been painful since November and unless your short, everyone here is underwater.
I believe the bounce is coming. Million dollar quaestion is WHEN?

Excellent idea, it’s about time the shorts lost control of PFC SP.

As much as I’ve enjoyed the ride with PFC over the past 2 years or so, the current trend is painful.
Why are we not getting any form of support from management.?
This feels like a play for someone to build a position, if that’s the case then surely management are either in on it or not doing their job to protect the business.
I’m underwater as I suspect are most and fed up with the situation, regardless, I’m not selling until the new CEO makes a statement and we get a clear direction for the future.
This could so easily turn on a dime and head back up above the previous rights issue of 115p.
But without support from the board could just as easily continue on its current path.
I honestly don’t know anymore.

Pre pandemic, PFC and Wood were trading around 400p.
Current SP puts PFC Mcap £415m and wood approaching £1.4B.
Admittedly, wood has declared an approach to buy which has pushed them up from 140’s to 220’s but the company still think the bid is too cheap.
Same industry exposure, similar debt levels.
figures are approximate, however if wood is too cheap, where does that value PFC?

Thought I’d have a look at the Mcap chart over the last 5 years.
Pre-pandemic approximately £1.7B and that was with the SFO saga in full flow.
Currently at around £400m.
My reason for looking this up was due to the dilution at 115p to see how the Mcap has been affected.
They have been winning contracts for £2-300m recently, all the criticism of not yet landing a £1b+ contract is odd. Obviously if they did announce a £1B + contract then I would imagine the SP would be considerably north of where it is.
It feels as though PFC is being played, at first I suspected the shorts were in control but with recent announcements of the Australians purchasing over 15% I now suspect a buyer is positioning? Look at wood! Still under priced, similar debt levels etc, etc.
