Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Given how the markets could go today, the timing of the raise in retrospect could be fortuitous.
Ftse 100 down 180 pts in pre trading.
Share price could get hit further still, but with a path to production laid out, this could be screaming bargain soon.
I'd like to see them come out of the bunker.
Who in their right mind would take up the rights offer at the moment.
I'm guessing they don't quite need the money from PIs but also they really didn't see the market reacting like this
Fortunately , given funding (or promises thereof) we don't need the standard AIM jawboning to raise the share price before a raise (ho hum, too late for that), be nice to have some clarity on Glencore , the options and just what has been going on though
I had to google supercilious
If not for those posters would the price of the raise not have been lower though?
Speculative I admit, but would a 7p raise have happened if the price was 6p. Given what had transpired I doubt it.
Thanks Wasa, I was a little unsure myself , exactly due to the reasons you've given about how the CLN qualifies.
Two thoughts spring to mind
1) The interest rates on the debt were great partly because of the ratio
2) People talk about onorous terms if there are delays but there's such a massive safety cusion now and I mean huge. That also probably feeds into why the rates for debt were so good.
Without trying to go over too much of the ground we all covered yesterday, I think the past 36 hours have seen for me a brutal re-anchoring of expectations but that's exactly what it is, I need to ask myself presented with this opportunity would I buy shares at this level and the answer is yes (i probably won't simply due to portfolio weighting).
What was the debt/equity ratio in the end , I don't think any body has calculated that yet , where we promised a certain ratio (ACR for those in know)?
Thanks Westie that's exactly the one I was thinking about. Shame to see you off the forum, your presence is missed but I understand why people need to take a break.
The comments on the video are probably worth going over my main criticism of their critique at the time was their supply figures were too optimistic. It's true there won't be shortage of accessible potash in the world it's not hitting a natural supply crunch like nickel or copper, but EML should be a bottom quartile producer anyway.
I don't have a link to it but I remember some guys on YouTube doing a comprehensive review of the investment case , and saying they doubted the figures for potash used.
I remember they were quite open to feedback on their takedown (which they got) and of course the prices used are all in the past now, but it was a good steel man exercise. If you have no luck finding it I'll see if I can dig it out.
It's not a bad price to come in at for a small percentage of a portfolio 2-3%. My next buy will be Glencore though. No point me whinging about the big boys I'd might as well buy more of them.
Nothing personally against you contrarian
I'm intrigued as to what course of action you'd take? Especially considering you've *not *been doxxed and that's not your twitter handle.
I appreciate you may think your up against a hostile crowd here but that's a strange response.
Do we know what price these options will be at?
It would affect how I feel about them , for instance could they just be some future facing options?

Those days are gone Lozza, Aim has reduced me to White Lightening.
I intend to take part and take up my allocation (not a penny more, not a penny less)
What are the estimates for the entitlement? I've got it at about 5‰ in my rough calcs.
Bets?
Allardyce to take charge, at first it won't be wanted and seem like a strange appointment until people realise he can mine nickel with his bare hands.
Just to clarify, not 3p then?
Or possibly like me when I emailed some months ago you didn't ask any direct questions so didn't get a reply. I've noticed FB on the other channel normally lists the questions he's asked.
For all your time investing on Aim?
How come you don't comment on other stocks?
Unrelated but I see lucid motors getting a lot of love off Cramer and the US market today
Did you see the email come in at 6? Is it possible you're seeing 6 as the time sent during British Summer Time when most email servers will be running at 6 GMT (or UTC for the nerds). Hence be one hour out if the time isn't presented correctly.
