Seems a bit more sensible in terms of trading today, which is much preferred. Much better to have a nice sustained steady rise, rather than a buying spree spike followed by a panic-fuelled sell-off.

2 MM's ticked up on bid. Overdue imo with this buying activity.

There haven't been many round-numbered trades since open, there was a 10k earlier. We did however just get a 5k buy moments after your post. And just now a 6k at full ask.

Current bid on a dummy sell is above the mid-price. Im surprised they haven't narrowed the spread yet.

This is getting very interesting. I'm curious about comparisons I have been seeing to CPP. Would love to hear views with regards to the likelihood of MFX matching or even surpassing the rise seen over on CPP. I feel like I've missed the boat over on CPP, looks too risky to buy in now - knowing my luck it would start to re-trace within minutes of me buying in, but I feel like I've gotten in at the right time here.

I guess it depends on your definition of a lot. I've actually not made a lot of trades in the past 6 months, even by my own standards, so I don't think it can be that. Can you recommend any good accounts? Halifax is currently top of my list, in particular the stocks and shares ISA.

Buys have started to trickle in again from the last half hour or so. Looks to me like it should bounce back from 10, or possibly 9.5

Not sure if I should say, but Im starting to come to the conclusion that I have the worst sharedealing account on offer. A high street bank too. Theres got to be a better service out there.

Ive had a market order open for hours, there are buys going through at a lower price, and still my order doesn't complete. Its not an unusual size, just a small 5000 share buy. Why the hell isn't it going through?

Perhaps, possibly, indefinately. For now, all we know is that the issue is delayed, but still in progress. Money has a funny way of making things happen. You may well be right, and you may not. Until we have further news, who is to say? I choose to take the wording at face-value. It is merely delayed. It will not be lost or cancelled or impossible until such a time that they report it, if at all.

Indeed, my thoughts exactly. Even though this years profits have been marked down slightly, it should only result in bumper profits for next year. Am I correct in thinking that the deadline for the T/O bid is next friday?

I would hardly regard this news as a 'profit warning'. Each of the three issues is little more than a delay.So expected profit for this year has been reduced, but it will likely just be added to next years expected profit.

I disagree. I see continued buying in expectation of positive end of year results due soon.
