Hello Folks, I sold out of LRE many years ago and am thinking of coming in here again with a significant holding. I guess it's not a 'widows and orphans' type Investment, but I would welcome any thoughts on this Company. I'm aware of te Specials and the gap of several years when tey were not fortcoming.

My immediate concern is Venezuela tensions. If the toddler genius decides to ramp up hostilities, how will the sp be affected, in your opinion?

And any reason for the sell-off on 30th Oct?

Do you know what the average daily volumes are over (say) one year? That'll be more revealing of abnormal volumes, if any.

BE - I agree about the special divdend, not sure of the amount. "Enterprise Value" includes Debt. So if X hundred million goes with the sale, then the sale proceeds will be £1600 - X hundred. So effectively will reduce debt.
